QUEST 3 is truly the best in every way. 👍👍👍 Other expensive VR headset companies should follow MetaQuest 3's example.

Somnium should lower the price by $800 and stop stupidly selling it only to Europe. I see a shortcut to ruin.

Could this be a solution for those of us hoping to be able to use our HP Reverb headsets after M$ removes the WMR platform from Windows?

i just bought meta 3 i already have meta 2. i was hoping ay meta 3 would be much better to wear. Unfortunately, they are not, they are very heavy on the face, and feel very uncomfortable. I return them to the store tomorrow. I wpuld bought this vr headset if they sold in Norway.. to high price i wouød risk buy from outside country exept of they accepted klarna payment.

Okay, now we are talking a real mixed reality, this is very impressive. When are we gonna get it for X-plane?

hey everyone im just wondering if i use a usb c to cable connect to my PC will i still have to rely on internet bandwith to use the headset?
@PaulMcDonagh-rv6vc9 сағат бұрын
So we have a very expensive, very heavy lump of iron hanging off our face here, that can only run at 75-80% with a 4090, has a poor-functioning xr runtime, which doesn't work great with steam VR, and doesn't work well in motion repro mode. And even with that..... all said and done..... its still struggling to hit 45fps in MSFS. At this point, this headset is not looking juicy for flight simmers.

VR1 No Audio? Oh Dear! Good review though, thank you.
@belgeode15 сағат бұрын
I agree, it does take a lot more effort to do VR videos, primarily because we have to be forever conscious of our head movements, and try to minimize them so the viewer does not throw up while watching us. But when it works right, oh mama is it a joy to behold. Much like THIS video!
@belgeode16 сағат бұрын
I cannot get over how the audio is. It literally sets off my buttkicker while I am watching the video. That is awesome!! Also the tapping of gauges thing is priceless. 🤣😂 And no, I have not bought the birds yet. I likely will not, but i am enjoying the heck out of your videos with it, and I need moooooooooooore!

Still here Steve - can you show your setting you have for moving yourself inside the plane - would love to do that myself- the Duke's are awesome in VR.

What are the dimensions of that 80% render resolution? If you get some time it might be nice to see through the lens comparisons of the VR1 at different lower resolutions to see how much the sharpening filter helps. It'd also be neat to see a through the lens comparison with sharpening turned off. Looking forward to your XR4 review. Since it sounds like Pimax may use the same display panels in its Crystal Super it may serve as a sneak peak at that headset's potential (provided they don't screw up the lenses). Also interested to see how much the 4090 struggles to drive that many pixels. I'm also looking forward to seeing your Crystal Light review. Sebastian (MRTV) noted his Crystal Light had even better clarity (less distortion) than the original Crystal possibly due to the lenses being fixed and not having potential tolerance issues of the removable lenses being slightly off. I'm curious to see if that is your experience as well. Maybe even see some side-by-side comparisons with the VR1 and XR4. Seems like we're getting quite a lot of high quality headsets coming out over the next year or so.

I agree, it is beautiful! If it looks this good on my phone. It probably looks even better inside of the headset.

Okay a few days into the release of SU15, and I have to say it's pants! New bugs introduced, and more VR stutters than ever. It seems turbulence gets set to max at random times which is nauseating in VR. I got poor frame rates flying down low that I've never had before. And finally the onscreen menu only works intermittently in VR. Come on Microsoft/Asobo! 4 years in, and it's like this?

Great Video!!! I’m also enjoying the Duke a lot, I agree that it misses a headphone simulation, I also think the persistance modelling is not as good as the A2A, but fun to have a more complex plane with that amount of details
@VRFlightSimGuyКүн бұрын
Thank you for watching, I think you are right about the persistency, in the Duke it's a little more based on actual hours. Take care
