0:50 John screams at me "Get off your arse!" just like my Dad used to. That's where the similarities begin and end. Also the irony of having the old guard Daltrey appear in a credit card ad is spot on.

it's absurd how much better of a band they were with Glen on bass. They really didn't need Sid to compete with Johnny about who could out-punk each other. This lineup has chemistry.

He touched something deep in the human psyche, archetypal and inspired. He touched many, unfortunately he also touched innocent children, may God have mercy on his soul.

In the very early eighties I went to London for a week and found a pub off Carnaby Street with the UK's first video jukebox and half these bands were on it. Just can't remember if it was 50p or a pound a vid but people were plying it with coin.

In the short clip of Reckless Eric performing "whole wide world" he is using the the same make and model guitar that I learnt to play on.

The most underrated part of Sid is his ability to stay composed and think clearly while seemingly acting like a maniac. Notice when he was pushing down the set he didnt risk going after the broken glass, whereas inexperienced Goldberg went to town on that glass limo and severely injured himself. Also remember Shockmaster, Sid even though he broke character for a second to tell everyone he told them so, he still didnt miss a beat and continued on with the script in character.

Motorcade is a most dangerous song… I mean, time and again I’ve been listening to it while driving and suddenly realised I had been pressing down on the gas pedal following the acceleration of the tune… way past the speed limit. Happily I never crashed like the tape did.

32:45 he ruins the feel here by keep asking his audience to raise their hands. When it came to the audience joining in, the house lights should’ve lit them up then off when GG sang. The drums and bass should’ve been louder for the punch. Great songs but he should have choreographed it much better and had the audience eating out of his hands. 😎

I get the feeling Iggy Pop’s Passenger is performed with the Sales brothers on bass (Tony Fox) and drums (Hunt). One of the best rythm section ever.

Sid at the 2:34 mark: "I'm gonna rearrange your face!" - I can't be the only who immediately interpreted that as a sly dig at Brutus' infamous parasailing accident.
