I have a sexto I have to repair. Can't wait to watch this to help understand the instrument a little better. There's no brand name or markings at all so I know it's the real deal.

I liked the Mando bass, to me the lesson was in the clamping and clamping cauls. Thanks Ken

I just bought a 1960 Harmony Monterey that has a slightly loose neck. It stays in tune at a whole step down, but will stay in tune at normal pitch. So I started looking into how to reset the neck and found this video. Now I get to go back and see all your other videos to learn the prep, but I am looking forward to trying this. So a huge THANK YOU for taking the time to teach us yahoos how to do this!!!

Great video. Any idea where I could find neck binding to match a 50's K-161? Luthier here fit a nee piece which is too creamy - the Old Kraftsman binding seems to have translucent greenish tint ivoroid look.

Interesting presentation. Just curious: at what point in the repair process do you re-glue and clamp the butt joint between the two cracked sides? It seems to me that a bunch of cleats are insurance but the fundamental repair is to glue the crack shut. Thank you.
