You have to use a little front brake too so as to slow your forward momentum down but still keep the rear wheel spinning and drifting.

Sportsters come up pretty easy dynas are a lot different. Gotta preload front forks to bring it up. Go get a dyna and do the same thing you’ll slide all day.

The sportys are a bitch to drift, the farther you lean the bike over the less gas you'll need to break the tire loose and keep it spinning. the taller the bike gets the more it will want to hook and highside.

Just be mindful of that spoked front wheel when doing wheelies. Had a buddy who rode with spokes for awhile and 1 random wheelie when that front wheel came down he had a bunch of spokes bend. Plus sportys look so good on mags🤙🏻

Check out the headlight extension blocks, MoonsMC makes one for 39mm or 49mm front ends. Arlen Ness and other companies make them too. Making that headlight sit flush in the fairing looks insanely better. If you see a white Low Rider around town, that'd be me ;)
