What is the optimal number of people to used this exercise?
@Teamexercises21 күн бұрын
I would say around 7 would be optimal, but less or more would also do fine :)

What's the moral of the game?
@Teamexercises22 күн бұрын
It's a game in which you will learn how to tell if someone is bluffing and experimenting with negotiation skills. It's a bit like playing poker :)

I do not take people who speak with an upward inflection seriously and sometimes I stop listening. The vocal fry is another annoying habit with the last few words of a sentence ending with a growl. The individuals that have adopted this way of speaking sound immature and stupid

NO!!!!! Dont tell these people how to talk properly!! It was the only real way to separate the dumbasses from the rest of us!!!

Huh, this is interesting

Interestingly, teaching TEFL, I always taught my students that in English when the voice rises at the end of a sentence it's a question or there's more to the sentence.
@TeamexercisesАй бұрын
Interesting. Yes, when there is more to a sentence you can do up speak to show it is a comma. But even with a question I would suggest ending it down. Try it out loud and hear the difference :)

YeH thays true but its good to practice in front of a mirror to see whether ur expressions are good, whether u r showing emotions and confidence etc. once that's sorted out, yeah ig practice in front of an empty wall
@Teamexercises2 ай бұрын
Thank you for your comment! Yes, when you see yourself in the mirror you might see your facial expressions, but you still don’t know if you would have these same expressions when you are in front of a real audience. I would recommend practicing in front of people you trust and ask them for feedback. They will see the actual expressions you have in front of an audience and are therefore the best mirror 😊

Good question! I think it is also a beneficial exercise if the members already know each other, because people will become aware of body language that they weren't aware of before. And it can be fun to point things out that someone is not aware of doing :)
