@@JazzyCheeks yeah the more IM got better with his dancing the more I can see Taemin in him lol and yes kai reminds me of him also :) it’s funny because not very many remind me of him it’s just those two. I’m so happy that I watched there recent online concert. It was shownu first concert back. And they showed us monbebe that they listen to us. They actually performed kiss or death and gave us choreo just like we have been wanting. And yes kiss or death is apart of the storyline they are searching for something and someone. I think that’s why they look like they are doing the same thing in the same place. They really are doing the same thing. It’s part of the story.

Also, totally noticed after I already uploaded the video that in One Day, Hyungwon is missing from the scenes in the driveway, and they use him as some of the transitions from one scene to another. Also, also... Hyungwon's car in Rush Hour is (I think) the same as Changkyun's car in Love Killa with the same red/green lighting, and Minhyuk's in Middle of The Night... I think. Anywho... Hyungwon was missing from the driveway shot because when he was on the set of his kdrama he stared in he was exposed to Covid and it was literally around the same time they shot the mv. So hyungwon basically had to shoot his parts by himself so that’s why you will see him by his self and why he’s missing in the shot on the driveway. And I don’t think it’s related to find you. Find you is part of the storyline for dramarama. And I think kiss or death is the last so far in that storyline series. But I definitely see what you are saying. But I don’t think this is related to the storyline

The Love Killa MV concept is based around different villains from movies so you got it right :). We have Jooheon as the Joker (The Dark Knight), Minhyuk as Patrick Bateman (American Psycho), Hyungwon as Tyler Durdan (Fight Club), Kihyun as Hannibal Lecter (Silence of the Lambs), I.M as The Driver (Drive), and apparently Shownu is supposed to be a Matrix reference but personally it feels more like Hitman to me.

Welcome to the duality that is Taemin. "Think of You" is the perfect example of what makes Taemin special. This is the Taemin you will see if you get to know him off stage. He is cute and innocent and a little shy. This is just Taemin being Taemin. What you saw is the definition of SHINee's maknae, and is exactly why he gets away with so much in SHINee. When around the other members of SHINee he plays up being the baby, and they pretty much will do anything he asks. He knows how to be cute when he wants something, but he hates it when someone asks him to be cute. LOL. You now have a glimpse of the other side of Taemin and are discovering what makes him so lovable. :D "Think of You" is a special fan tribute song and it's just Taemin's way of giving love back to his fans. The whole video was filmed with the intent to create this MV, it's all part of the theme of the song. It is meant to have more of a documentary-style look and it was intended to feel more intimate like we were just hanging out and following him around for the day. The song is written by Taemin and it's about asking fans to continue to support and love him and it talks about how he looks to us to embrace him and giving him comfort, especially in those moments when he feels lonely and sad, and in turn he wants us to feel like we have his love and support when we are feeling down and alone. (You really need to look up the lyrics to appreciate the message he is giving us fans.) "Think of You" was filmed in the same location and at the same time as his "2 Kids"MV, which was shot in Paris in February 2020 -- right before the world shutdown because of the pandemic. (The shutdown didn't happen until March 2020.) You will notice he has the same blond hair and the look of the video has the same aesthetic as in his "2 Kids" MV. "2 Kids" is the prologue track from his Never Gonna Dance Again album trilogy. Both MVs were shot in between promotional activities while he was on tour with SuperM. Taemin never stops. He has released at least one song (Usually way more than just one) or album every year since SHINee's debut in 2008, either as part of SHINee, as a member of a project group or as a solo artist. He has now debuted in 3 different Kpop generations -- Second generation as a member of SHINee, third gen. as a solo artist in 2014 (one of the very first members of an active group to have a solo career) and fourth gen. as a member of SuperM in 2019. Taemin has said that he really has never taken a true vacation since he was a trainee -- he started with SM Entertainment when he was around 11 years old -- and he doesn't know what to do if he isn't constantly working and training. Even on his days off he usually goes to the studio to practice. As he has said, there has never been anything that has come easy to him and he has only gotten to where he is today because he has worked hard to accomplish everything. He is constantly pushing himself to become the best of the best in everything he does. Fun fact: Taemin and Kai are literally best friends since trainee days, and Jimin became their friend a few years ago when they met and realized that they also have a lot in common. They are all part of a group of Idol friends, called "The Padding crew" -- which is named after the puffy winter jackets that they all wear as a sort of group uniform. :D. The padding crew consists of: Taemin from SHINee and Kai from EXO -- who are sort of the founders of the group -- Timoteo from HotShot, Ravi from VIXX, Jimin from BTS, Ha Sungwoon from Wanna One and non-celebrity friend from school Jung Kwonho, who Taemin and Kai have known since they were kids. (Timoteo was an SM trainee at the same time Kai and Taemin were trainees, but he left SM and eventually became a member of HotShot, which is a Star Crew Entertainment group.)

The look and feel for "Move" is very specific, it's supposed to be androgynous and gender neutral. Early in his career when Taemin was growing up in SHINee he was known for his feminine look. The industry thought it was novel and cute to dress Taemin up as a girl and play up his feminine features. Which ended up giving him a real complex about the fact that people never saw him as a masculine man. It took him a long time to accept that he was known for his looks and to come to terms with the fact that everyone thought of him as a "pretty boy," etc. So, at this point in his career as a 24 year old (He is 29 now) he was trying to make a statement about how he has now come to terms with just being himself and not caring what people think. Dancing is art and movement has no gender. "Move" is his title track on his 2nd Korean solo album which was released in 2017. Fun fact: The blue color you see throughout this MV is supposed to represent the cool, chill vibe of this song, but pearl aqua also is SHINee's fan color, so you will see aqua/blue/green shades with most everything to do with SHINee as a way to represent their connection as a group and their connection to their fans, etc. "Move" features all female dancers because the whole point of the song and dance is supposed to be about crossing gender boundaries and how just because you are male doesn't mean your dance has to be hyper masculine. Taemin uses what is traditionally considered more feminine dance moves to show how you can merge both feminine and masculine styles together to create something that can't be singled out as one gender or the other. This dance allowed a more mainstream audience to start to embrace less traditional gender roles within Kpop. "Move" is one of Taemin's most famous choreographies and it has become the dance he is most recognized for. This dance has inspired what is known as the "Move disease," and it is said that the dance is so catchy that you can't help but try to imitate it. There are literally hundreds of videos online of people attempting cover dances to this song. (It is on the level of Beyonce's "Single Ladies" dance and some of the most famous TiK Tok dance challenges.) But no matter how good of a dancer they are, it is quickly apparent that there is just something about the way Taemin moves that can't be duplicated. Taemin is Taemin and there is no one else like him. The dance is never as sharp or precise as the way Taemin does it. That is why he is hands down considered one of the top two BEST dancers in the industry. As Taemin has said numerous times in interviews and on variety shows, the key point in "Move's" choreography is literally supposed to be to stare into the camera like you are trying to seduce the person who is watching. So, you are right, that is exactly what Taemin is doing. Yes, Sugawara Koharu is a Japanese choreographer who has choreographed dances for several Kpop groups, as well as American artists. She has worked with Taemin a lot over the years and she is the one that also choreographed Taemin's dance for his songs "Want," "Flame of Love" and "Sayonara Hitori" and helped choreograph Taemin and her performance on the competition program Hit the Stage -- "Devil" performance, etc., and she was one of 3 or 4 choreographers who helped choreograph Taemin's "Criminal." Taemin and Sugawara are really good friends. She was also the choreographer for SHINee's song "Good Evening," among others. She loves working with Taemin because they are a lot alike, and that is one of the reasons why she has been featured in several of Taemin's projects. Plus, Taemin and all the members of SHINee, are also one of the most famous artists in Japan and they all speak fluent Japanese, so they have no problem communicating through dance or language. :D And just so you know, those background vocals aren't Taemin's. They actually chose to leave the songwriters' vocals in the song from when they recorded the guide track. I have seen interviews with Adien Lewis, one of the original songwriters and he was shocked to hear his voice still in the song. Usually when a Kpop company gets a song from a songwriter, especially a foreign songwriting team, they will translate it into Korean and record all the vocals using the artists' vocals or other Korean artists, etc. So it's very rare that a songwriter would have their original vocals in a Kpop song, however, this was one of the few times where SM didn't rerecord or change everything. If you're interested, here is a short clip of an interview with Aden Lewis talking about "Move", kzfaq.info/get/bejne/nrqolcSavN_WnXU.html. If you are impressed with what you saw, you really need to see a live performance for "Move." You will be even more blown away. Although you might think Taemin's and Kai's dance moves are identical, if you were to see Taemin dance to Kai's "Mmmh" and Kai dance to "Move", you would see that Kai and Taemin have completely different dance styles. (Although they are best friends and considered the top two best dancers of all dancers in Kpop, they have their own distinct style.) Notice Kai's and Taemin's feet, they are not doing the same thing and Taemin is not doing body rolls in "Move", he is isolating his shoulders, where when Kai does the "similar" move you pointed out, he is creating a body wave. Taemin's choreography is very much influenced by him. Although he has input in almost everything he does, he has choreographers that come up with the choreography for most of his dances and he then infuses it with his own ideas and style and makes it uniquely his. The way Taemin dances is just the way he moves. His movements are effortless. And, if you watch Taemin dance a lot, you will see that no matter who choreographs the dance, it will always be very Taemin-like. Many choreographers who have worked with him over the years have said that, with Taemin you can't help but allow him to move in whatever way his body takes him. Taemin is art in every sense of the word. :D Taemin's style of dance can't be defined. As he has said, he has worked his entire career to create a style of dance that is unlike anything in the Kpop industry. And I would argue that that now extends to the entire industry of dance. Taemin started out as a self-taught popper and locker without any dance training, and, even then, as a trainee it was clear his skills as a dancer went far beyond the average dancer. Over the years he has infused those popping and locking skills into his now more contemporary style of dance. But, when it comes to dancing, he can do it all and there is no one better at it than him. Taemin is a trendsetter and considered the standard in the Kpop industry. As a member of SHINee, nothing he will ever do will be like anything that has ever been seen or done before. As SM's experimental boy group, the members of SHINee are supposed to be the ones to introduce the next dance style and sound to the Kpop industry with every new release. Which is one of the reasons why EVERYONE looks up to him. He is the idol that most other idols idolize and they dream of being even a fraction as good as. Taemin has had a solo career for more than 7 years and he has been a member of SHINee for more than 14 years. He has at least 11 solo albums and SHINee currently has 13 full length albums, plus dozens of mini albums, singles, repackaged albums, etc. So you won't run out of Taemin content to watch for a very long time. ;p Taemin has even held several solo concerts, as well as more than 100 concerts as a member of SHINee.

Wow, my mind is completely blown!! Thank you for this comment! There’s so much detail in this. Thank you for leaving the link, I’m definitely interested in seeing it. Sort of unrelated, I also wonder what the result was of keeping the original songwriter’s voice in the final recording might have been. Like, I imagine he’d have gotten credit as a singer on the song and such… but I donno how contracts work and that’s besides the point, lol. Seriously, if they ever decide to create a biopic on Taemin, they need to hire you, lol. This comment was fascinating, and I learned a lot! Definitely going to check out the live performance for move and also Taemin and Kai covering each other’s dances. I’m wondering if I’ll be able to pick up on the subtle differences between them. Also interesting, when Hyojeong said that he was trying to change his style because he was seen as more feminine, especially because of his face, I took that with a grain of salt, but after reading your comment, it’s a well-known fact. Poor thing… to have your image sort of chosen for and pushed onto you at an age when you should be discovering that for yourself… then again, it is a large part of what Move is and what it means, which almost sounds like… a cultural reset of sorts. Just fascinating… Thank you again for watching the video and taking the time to explain all this. Definitely puts a lot of what Hyojeong and Stephanie said into perspective!

@@JazzyCheeks Oh I'm sorry I'm not really sure you will be able to find clips of Kai and Taemin covering each others dances. I was just saying IF we saw them dancing to each other's dances you would see they interpret things differently. I'm sure you could find short clips of Kai dancing to "Move" -- such as during SuperM's appearance on Knowing Bros. -- but I'm not sure Taemin has ever been seen dancing to "Mmmh." Taemin was super busy during Kai's solo debut preparing for his military enlistment and working on his own solo comeback. (Taemin enlisted May 30, 2021 and he is expected to be discharged sometime next month.) However, if you want to see the difference between Kai's and Taemin's dance styles side by side, check out some of SuperM's dance practices. SuperM is the Kpop industries very first Supergroup, which is made up of some of the top artist from SM Entertainment's most popular groups -- Baekhyun and Kai from EXO, Taemin from SHINee, Taeyong and Mark from NCT and Ten and Lucas from WayV. And although this group is made up of the best singers and dancers in the industry, when you really focus on each of the members dancing you will see that although it all meshes very well, they each have their own style. You will see that when Taemin executes a move it will be very different from how Kai does that same move. You could also check out a live performance of "Pretty Boy," which is one of Taemin's solo debut songs from 2014 and it features Kai as the rapper in the song. They have only performed the song together I think 2 or 3 times -- once during a comeback stage when the song was first released, once during an SMTown concert that same year, and maybe at a SuperM concert. (Most of the time Taemin performs the whole song himself.) "Pretty Boy" was wrote by SHINee's main vocalist Jonghyun specifically for Taemin, and it address the fact that Taemin wanted to be known as more than just a "Pretty Boy," etc.

G999 when they 1st fall in love, Shut Down is the making love stage where her lover is always with her every thought, Lunatic is where she is crazy in love, For Me is the breakup and Ddu Ddu Ddu is missing her after the breakup. Moon did an excellent job on this album, writing on all the songs but Lunatic.

Thank you for breaking this all down! It's helpful to know what order I should watch/listen to them in.

Moonbyul is thinking about Seori the entire video, so she isn't actually there until the very end when they start looking at each other on the bed (basically when she returns from work or whatever). But because she can't stop thinking about her, Seori's prescence is always there, whether she is watching tv, reading, eating, or playing on her phone.

Shutdown is very much a wlw erotic song 😂She usually uses gender neutral pronouns but in this songs she stated it is a lesbian anthem

Ohhh, interesting! So the "shutdown, shutdown" at the end of the 1st verse had another meaning! I love that. I'm excited to see the rest!

thanks for reacting, please check her other mvs and music live clips "for me" and "ddu ddu ddu" in her latest album "6sequence ", all the songs is related/in sequence/a love story concept, it is an album which contain emotion/feeling from 1st meeting someone you love to break up , from "G999" (1st meet) to "shut down" then onwards. She put a lot of effort in her ablum and she wanted to show the other side to us. thanks !!

2NE1’s Come Back Home is very futuristic. Very ahead of it’s time. It somehow looks like it predicted what’s happening to the world right now. From face mask, laboratory, (bom- creating vaccine) face shields, virtual world etc. 2NE1 is the STANDARD. Just QUEENS.

2ne1 set the standard for the next generations of KPOP. Doesn't matter when you find 2ne1 as long as you found them. Their music still holds up. CL, Minzy, Bom and Dara talents blended so well. I am a Blackjack but also MooMoo

2NE1 was the blueprint! A lot of 3rd and 4th gen groups take inspirations from 2NE1. You can really see their influence, be it in music, fashion, visuals, etc.

It's fascinating! Also, learning about this group is opening my eyes to the very obvious formula that GGs seem to follow. It works because I love what they're doing, but it's cool to see where it started. Anyway... thanks for clicking on our video and leaving this comment!
