Magnificent catches of the trains coming by and pass at the railroad crossing, I like it 5 stars. Hearing that amazing diesel sound and cars coming through is absolutely crazy. Thumbs up. Sadly yes they will. But for now they’re still being used for backup. Matter of fact they ran em again just today. I couldn’t see it but one of the crews told me about it. Idk if they’ll run again tmrw tho

@@Ferromexfan4081 very cool I look forward to seeing those videos I will hopefully make some trips to railfan on TRE Sub this year which is going to be one of my highlights so far the biggest highlight is seeing the Empress 2816 yet to come is seen for the third time the king of the rails himself big boy 4014 scheduled to visit Dallas and Fort Worth this fall much like his younger brother Challenger 3985 previously did back in the 90s

It always warms my heart to see Vinny pulling the Grapevine Vintage Railroad GP7 number 2199 was the one of a few diesel locomotives to operate alongside the old steam locomotive my oldest friend in steam locomotion number 2248 which is the picture of my KZfaq channel fun fact about this picture this is a photo of me and my mom standing in front of her when she was sitting on the track next to stockyard station in this picture was taken back in 1998 some 26 years ago I known 2199 since she first started operating in 2007 and I have a lot of fond memories of having to be able to be in the cab of that locomotive back when they still allowed you to do that I truly miss that it’s sad that things have truly changed and things aren’t what they used to be

Thx! The ALCOs don’t run as often as they used to. The RS-11 very rarely runs, but from what I’ve noticed it generally runs more often during winter, particularly when it rains. The FPA-4s are very hit or miss but from what I noticed they seem to run at least a couple times a month. I’m pretty sure they’re gonna run today and tmrw
