What sort of mentality possesses one to go that near to a stag? This is a dangerous wild animal. The video was filmed as rutting season begins, you're lucky you didn't get gored.

This was over 8 years ago. Anyway, the deer in Tatton Park are very used to people being close, hence it was no problem.

You did well to hold the car after the Black 968 hit you up the rear

Eh? Twice before the straight? He was slow to get on the gas when we got on the straight (pause the video & you'll see virtually no lateral G on my car), resulting in the one very slight nudge you see which was clearly accidental - hands up though, that one's down to me. As for him though, red mist indeed, a move like that is downright dangerous when racing against someone, never mind if you're being lapped. I thought I might at least get an apology from him but nothing so far.

looks a bit of red mist for hitting him twice before the straight still should not cut accros think you both need to respect each others race line...good driving on the limit.

Did you talk to car 91 about this? looks more like he assumed you would go to the outside to pass? Nice driving tho, I enjoyed that.

Very nasty.... Real shame when it happens to the club racers who prepare and pay for their own cars.

Thanks to everyone for their comments, emails and phone calls to see how I am. The soreness got worse until Tuesday, been getting better since. Oh, and @ "podiumpete1" - you know not of what you speak, sir. Better not to make assumptions or act cocky - it is not at all becoming, nor accurate come to that. Unless maybe you're jealous, in which case I take pity on you and you have my sympathy. I'm glad to hear the marshal was OK and very grateful to all those that helped.

Never good to see a fellow PH'er crash but glad to hear your okay mate, any crash can walk away from is a good crash if there ever is such a thing, and no one got seriously hurt.
