He was slow to get on the gas when we got on the straight (pause the video & you'll see virtually no lateral G on my car), resulting in the one very slight nudge you see which was clearly accidental - hands up though, that one's down to me. As for him though, red mist indeed, a move like that is downright dangerous when racing against someone, never mind if you're being lapped. I thought I might at least get an apology from him but nothing so far.

Thanks to everyone for their comments, emails and phone calls to see how I am. The soreness got worse until Tuesday, been getting better since. Oh, and @ "podiumpete1" - you know not of what you speak, sir. Better not to make assumptions or act cocky - it is not at all becoming, nor accurate come to that. Unless maybe you're jealous, in which case I take pity on you and you have my sympathy. I'm glad to hear the marshal was OK and very grateful to all those that helped.
