What am I missing here? This is a first person game where you only see your arms. Why are people going crazy over operator bundles, and skins you don’t even see what character you have equipped.

My first modern cod was mw2. I spent lots on weapons and skins cos I can afford it. However I’m not buying anything else as they don’t carry over and blueprints are generally great until the later nerf. Love the game but once bitten twice shy. It’s live service with a yearly fee and no carry forward.
