I do love it very much, but at the same time.I think I would have been just as happy with an absolutely fantastic two hundred and fifty dollars statue. I just do not see myself as a 1 6 collector. Not that I don't like it though.

@@FandomWithReploidBill It's incredible, but yeah it feels like a movable statue. I don't know I can see hitting all those cool poses that they showed, which was part of the selling point to me. But they nailed the design of her.

@robertfalcone3025 I agree with a lot of this. The thing I always say is that we have to open our minds a little bit. I'm not saying shill or praise them for no reason. Call them out when we have to but while this is our hobby it's their business. You have to look at the industry from a business mind set sometimes to get what is going on and understand that while we all want deals, deals come at the cost of the company in many cases. We all play the waiting game. Maybe the price will drop. I could get it for a deal. We played that game to long and now the market is recoiling. This is leading to us not getting as much produced and it's causing us to fight over less product. Now as things even out some stuff is becoming available easily but other stuff is on the edge of no chance without a pre-order.

@@FandomWithReploidBill EXACTLY...IMO we are actually living in a GOLDEN AGE for this hobby...& I choose to be GRATEFUL for the fact that Marvel Legends will make even the most OBSCURE Marvel Comics characters..& that they are CONSTANTLY upgrading the most popular characters as well..& if you look at the prices of imports..they are STILL very affordable..& your definitely getting MORE for your $$ as far as quality goes...I also keep in mind that price increases over the past few years has been the fault of the government trying to CRACK DOWN on the Fossil Fuel industry..& that not only increases the prices of plastic products... you also have to factor in the price of gas going up also causes increased costs of distribution..& that's what's caused the HUGE increase in food..& basically EVERY product that has to be delivered by trucks..etc etc.. Anyways im just going to APPRECIATE this time frame as long as it lasts,.. also I'm not saying anyone can't CRITICIZE Hasbro or any other corporation for bad product..I just recommend keeping ALL these other factors involved Anyways I hope you have a great weekend brother..I appreciate the reply 👑

I also feel like it would be great to have He-Man, Skeletor, and She-Ra. I won't go out of my way for them though. It would have to be a buy after some OT that leaves me in a good spot.

@GholaMuadDib I've seen that figure at Wal-Mart for a while now. It's very rare to come across Super 7 stuff there so it stands out to me.

@PsycInColour lol. You know that's one of the things I think I like most about this hobby. We don't collect the same at all but we fully understand each other for the fact that we collect. It's very unique. I was a massive video game collector for a while and it was not the same feeling. So many other hobbies seem to be broken into segments that don't cross. Toys and Collectibles don't seem to have that same issue.

I've never been one to double buy just to store. It just doesn't fit me. Both money wise as well as for the reason I collect at large. I know a lot of people that do though.

One is to preserve history. 2 They grow in value. 3 I want my kids to have certain toys I'm sure won't be around when they are old enough to play with them. Sometimes I buy several of one figure. Just so I know they will have them, and not fight over them.

@CaptainHavfun-lp4ok OK but really talk here. 1. We are not a museum and only impact the moment in which we live. We have no real control over the history once it's over. When we die we drop a bunch of stuff on the ones left behind. If that's kids, chances are they have their own lives and interests by that time. They don't want to operate as our future museum handlers. Chances are most of these things we collect will just be sold or given away. 2. We can't predict the market. Truth is, most of what we buy is mass produced. The value may climb. The value may drop. I can buy many toys in box complete that are 20 and even 40 years old now for prices like 3 bucks. Just look at the Playmates Star Trek line. It's just not a guarantee. It's a gamble at best. 3. Your kids might be collectors. They also might not be. They also might not hold the same level of interest in what you have that you do and that circles back to answer 1. I do get what you're saying but it's a guess and self justification to how you collect. It doesn't necessarily prove that it's the way all people should collect. In fact I could easily give 3 reasons why we should always collect loose. I won't right now but I certainly could.

@@FandomWithReploidBill IDK man... I have figures from 1963 MIB!!!! I look at myself as a curator for the figures I put on display. Have you never seen my studio? The entire 1989 Toybiz line is in box behind me, as well as most of the figures out of box. Would you honestly open a bunch of 1977 Star Wars figures MOC? C'mon. You know I love you. But, YES, we are partially a museum. I have some OG Super Powers toys MOC, as well as MOTU in box... OH, and the original line of Power Rangers in box. ALSO, I didn't marry a stupid Western woman. I married Chinese. My son would find it dishonorable to sell the collection I've made. My grandmother is a collector, and got me into it as child.

@CaptainHavfun-lp4ok We still are not a museum. I do get what you're saying. I really do but you are also justifying your way of collecting. I married a "stupid western woman" and she has never once inhibited me from collecting or doing most anything I want. My kid collects but she collects the thins she likes. Not all of it stuff I like. My dad collected music. 700+ CDs and nearly 1000 records. All gone in a single fire. It's never been replaced and never will be. Then there's the idea that what we have on card is somehow expensive or that it gains value over time. This just isn't true in all cases. I buy on card from collector shops and tables all the time figures that are 30 plus years old and open them because I bought them for 10 or 20 bucks. Now some stuff does blow up. There's no doubt about that but I could argue that the tactile contact I get from holding the figure is infinitely more important to me than the 100 plus price tag of some old TMNT toy. I've even thought of opening my Spock from the Barbie collection. Sure he's worth almost 300 but what am I going to do with him? Continue to store him and have my kid sell him when I'm dead so as to make 4 or 500 buck on him? I don't see it as any kind of disrespect that she wouldn't keep my stuff either. I didn't keep my mom's glasses. She collected cabinets of glasses. It was nice and meant a lot to her but 6 cabinets of collectors glasses. I didn't have an interest or the space in a 1 bedroom apartment for something like that. We are not museums. We only preserve history that may pertain to us and our interests but even then only up to a point. I don't devalue the way you collect or feel but at the same time we as collectors have to be real and see that everyone collects for different reasons and in different ways and that it doesn't devalue them to do so different and doesn't make us right that we chose our way necessarily. It just is right for us.

@onithedemonslayer3142 Yeah. I have a some of them. Only about 10 but they are a real treat for the fans wanting to see these stories without the company censorship oversight. At least a lot less of it anyway.

@GholaMuadDib I have King Conan ordered myself as well. That figure I couldn't pass on. I do worry a little bit because of a bad experience with Mezco but everyone tells me it was the figure I got and not a normal Mezco issue so I bought it.

@@raphaelhamato7546 I have the King Conan on order. As for the others I don't have the desire to pay the price I would have to pay on the aftermarket. Sometime I miss a drop, and I accept that I probably won't get a figure. That's how it is.

Well thanks. I just try to be as real about the moment as I can with each figure I open. Try to stay as unscripted as possible aside from my format. I think that helps me to stay random but honest.

I just talked about this exactly last night on the live. That's the same opinion I hold as well.

They are very passable for being fakes.

It's crazy what they have put out at the price point they've hung on to while everything else is jumping up in value.

Sometimes it's nice to get a small breather and say. OK. That's not for me. What else is there or now I can get something more premium or big the next time. I went hunting for the only figure I need to complete my Super Skrull since I don't have to allocate funds here now.
