Its the best because no one knows about it, every other place has gone to absolute crap and gets abused. Why do people always feel the need to share everything. If you actually give any crap about this area please remove this video

This is how we learn, but also earn. I'm sure you've gone on youtube to look up a holiday destination, how to fix something. Or just entertainment. Sharing is caring.

@@Globetraveladventures what are the beaches like? How are the waves? How do they compare with beaches in Brisbane or Sydney?
@GlobetraveladventuresАй бұрын
@@andrewfreiji4647 not really any waves, only in winter really. They are very warm, one beach is good for wind surfing, Palm Cove or Ellis beach are nice, sometimes crystal clear blue water, other times muddy. the islands are always beautiful.

@@Globetraveladventures How dangerous is it to go swimming between crocodiles, jellyfish, blue ringed octopus, etc?
@GlobetraveladventuresАй бұрын
The jellyfish are there more in summer, in my 3 years there I was never stung, I was out on boats almost every second day, in and out of the water. Cairns is beautiful place, although very high crime rate with local youth. You have a higher chance of your car getting stolen than seeing any crocodiles

If I lived near you, I’d be buying you a beer right now. Having just fought with a pop-up tent for near on two hours, given up and drove home with a fully erect tent crammed in the car… to then fight with it again in a tiny holiday let, struggling with the cryptic instructions that came with it… I found your video. Within seconds, the tent is back in the pouch of hell it came in. And that is where it shall now stay forever, because I now have tent-based PTSD.

I didn’t see a swipe at the drone, but I did see a curious raptor checking out possible prey and moving on eventually and without damaging the drone, but I’m sure everyone isn’t that lucky
Had a couple of close calls myself, I just put it in to sports mode and went vertical as fast as possible. Birds can't climb as quick as a drone. Then you can go to a safe spot and descend. Great video 😊

Love this guide!! I am hoping to visit in May, do you think it's worth visiting both? I cannot decide whether to do a day trip to both or stay on Fitzroy for 2 days (Staying overnight). Is it worth doing both?
@Globetraveladventures4 ай бұрын
Depends on what value that you put on things. If it's a romantic getaway with your partner sure, go stay on fitzroy for a night. But island can get boring fairly quickly. Although I've been to both islands a good 15 times each. I always preferred green

Thanks , also on this channel is 3 other sailing videos. Last year in September I was helping the guy I sold my old yacht to sail it back from cairns to airlie beach. But right over the ss yongala near AYR the engine cuppling came undone, and we started taking on water at 3am in 45mph winds. I was up for 24 hours non stop bailing out water, could only use a qtr jib to Sail as winds were to strong
