having used this camera almost daily for 7 months, ive found turning all stab off in camera followed by running the clips through catalyst has created the best stability. dynamic active works well hand held with pull in and pull out shots. note: catalyst browse turns your footage into 8 bit. unless you pay for the subscription.

I would love an ipad to simply mimic a laptop. The form factor and above touch screen would make it my device of choice if it did. As it is, although I have ipads, I find using them immensely frustrating … every time.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but to just say the iPad doesn’t do either Tablet or Laptop tasks well and that the Mac does every task 100 times better is a pretty lazy take! It might not do certain traditional computer tasks in the same way as a Mac or how you personally like to use a computer, but it’s unquestionably the best and most versatile consumer tablet on the market today! For anyone in the Apple Ecosystem that likes to draw or take handwritten notes, the Apple Pencil and iPad are already indispensable tools that compliment the MacBook and will inevitably improve following WWDC.

Thank you. Amen, brother, I agree. I have three iPads. (Ancient 12.9 Pro 2nd Gen, Mini 6, Air M2 11.) They are sweet for focused apps, e.g., sheet music (forScore). But all of the note-taking apps have weaknesses, and there are no full-featured true pro word-processing apps with keyboard shortcut assignments and full macro functionality. I can edit photos on the iPads, sorta; likewise video, but then I end up copying them to my desktop PC anyway because the workflow makes better sense, with Premiere Pro, Audition, nice keyboard, and two big screens. I want to be able to use the Mini to churn words and the Air M2 for photo/video, but I can see a time when I'll dump them and buy a couple more lenses that will help me get real work done in my life as a professional photographer, age 82, 57 yrs photo-video experience. The iPads are cute kids, wish they'd grow up.

Joseph if I may I'm more of a Android user, but I'm no stanger when it comes to Apple products. For me the Ipad M4 is unnecessary due to the fact that (although you get daster speeds and better performance) the M2 and M1 can do the same thing as well. I'm still trying to figure out what Apple's going with this and what's limiting the tablet is the software itself as we all know its using the same IOS systems as the iphone and to top it up they're more proritizing more with the MacBook itself rarher than fixing the issues with the M4 of being a tablet/laptop. If Apple simply fine tune the operating systems on the Ipad and add some type of sodtware that can turn it into a portable full fledge laptop (like Samsung Dex) it will not only be unique, but it will change the game for Apple (Samsung did it why can't they). What are your thoughts?

The convenience is phenomenal... 32 bit float is amazing...but are you actually listening to the quality of the mic? The difference from your studio mic and the DJI mic 2 was.... very different. Bass response is way off and not enough, mids are crushed, the highs sound digital and it seems like it always has a sense of background reduction which really adds a ghost like digitalness. It needs a EQ curve and compressor on it badly!!

Im 67 yrs old and have been shooting film since was I 12 yrs old..Reflecting 55 years 0f film experience.. I work for over 40 years producing corporate shows using digital world lights camera action. So I understand the full scope of lazy ass digital shortcuts for high production runs.. I run circles around the young turks that are jerks on the set... Your big mistake on cost was shooting Color. Most all savvy street photogs shooting silver use B$W film. Singular subject more impact. Using a lab and high dollar TRI X cost about $1 usd per shot finished .. that includes 36 exposures fully processed, scanned and sleeved negatives. Including 31/2 x5 prints all mailed back from Richard lab Cali .. Instant gratification your looking for comes when you process the FILM at HOME . Takes about 15 to 30 minutes and I can do 5 120s or 10 35mm rolls at a time. If i want them scanned do it at home or drop off at lab cost about $10 to $12.../ scanning kills the entire painting with light shooting analog silver experience. So go spend a few thousand $$$ on a plastic digital camera.. then a a few $$$ thousand on a 20 x 24 printer and the PAPER rolls to slabb some INK on top of the overpriced copy paper.. .. .. and dont forget the INK $$$$$$$$$$$, then lash yourself to a computer all day using some ASIAN techs photo shop program. THATS HIS ART NOT YOURS creating something that is ALL FAKE digital facade tones and density. Nothing but a radical manipulation of the original LIGHT on a SQUARE pixel chip...what a joke !! lazy ass DIGITAL HAS KILLED THE TRUE ART OF PHOTOGRAPHY... shooting silver is the only way for true balance in nature..go into the darkroom for ultimate gratification and WAYY less cost than digital propaganda when comparing apples to apples..Producing a silver gelatin on fiber base paper 20 x 24 print in the darkroom vs printing JAMMED JUNK INK JOB scanning/ machine ink printing a semblance of what once was. The darkroom route creates more of your true ART balance with nature.. I use 1960s and 1970s PENTAX original spotmatics. Purchase price $20 to 75$ . METAL TANK CONSTRUCTION that still work PERFECT 50 years later .. I DOUBT any DIGITAL CAMERA will still perform like new after 50 to 60 years.. thats why they have those DIGITAL FRAME counters letting the buyer know the newer digital camera is almost worn out according to manufactures specs..

I like the video, the vibe and the fact that you kept it to an interesting piece in under 5 minutes. But I agree with FradeJJ on the filter. Another thing I'd suggest is to tone down the halation effect here. In the whole clip, but particularly in the shots at 0:56, it's more distrating than anything else. When it's over the top, it takes a shot from a 'film look' to an overly processed digital look

I don't mind a frame around the outside or maybe a subt effect but it's the pulsating light/dark over the shots that kill it for me. Really makes it hard to look at and appreciate any of the shots.
