What I have understood about water pressure is if there are 45psi at the pump. Then it would not matter how far you would run the water pipe . Once the pressure get at 45 psi at the pump this would be the same 45psi anywhere in the line no matter how far the water pipe ran . I'm still leaning so I do not know everything just trying to understand.

Question please ,if your holding tanks /tank uses a foot switch that cut off water when the holding tank fills up. Does this mean you would use gravity for water flow from the holding tanks to where you are going to use the water ? If yes why would you not just let when you are not using the water to cause the water pressure to build up and cut off . Now you would have what 45psi until the hose or facet was cut off then the pressure of the line build up would cut of the pump ? This would give you the pressure to where you was using the water as well , or did I miss something ?

The reason we have the system set up this way is because the holding tank is located at the highest point on the property. Additionally, it is not sealed in pressurized so the switch it is not sealed in pressurized so the valve is at the destination and when it gets full it shuts It off at the source. The reason this is done is because the source is consistent but that does not have a high volume of water thus needing a holding tank that is allowed to be filled up and topped off all the time to meet the needs. This is done often when you're source is consistent but is not producing a large volume of water. You would then either use your holding tank to produce pressure by gravity or by adding a booster pump to give you the proper pressure that you need to your destination. The people at RPS are great at setting up the systems and are used to setting up single phase systems or multiple phase system depending on your needs. Hopefully this helps to answer it a little bit more clearly. When you don't have a seal tank and you're worried about it overflowing you can't necessarily maintain pressure in the line to gain that side of the system. Hopefully that makes sense :) please feel free to reach out to the people at RPS they are wonderful to speak to and they know their information very well we've provided a link to that they know that you found out about us and have questions through us! Thank you so much and hopefully this helps :-) shop.rpssolarpumps.com/pages/heartway

You can do it :-). I understand it is totally intimidating at first but once you get in the flow of doing it and you get over the learning curve it is very possible.

Currently standing in the kitchen with a chicken in my sink and what looks like a heart floating in my brine. I didn’t know it came with guts. Gonna take a couple shots and watch in repeat till I can get the courage. Wish I’d have asked grandma before she died to show me how to do this. 🙃 thanks for the video. Hopefully it’s as easy as you make it look.

I make the same thing ! But I don’t shred the zucchini I finely chop it. I love to take a cracker and put some cream cheese on the cracker then some of the relish. A great little snack. I do have one question. I have been canning for year. And I don’t take the rings off while I store it. Why do you take them off ?
@HeartwayFarms3 күн бұрын
There are two main reasons to remove the rings from canning jars after they have cooled and been sealed: * Detect spoilage: Leaving the rings on can mask spoilage. Spoilage causes gas buildup, which will eventually break the seal and cause the lid to bulge. With the ring off, you can easily see if the lid is bulging or if there are any leaks. * Prevent rust: Rings can rust if left on the jars for long periods, especially if they get wet. Rusting rings can be difficult to remove and may even stain the jars.

Can you raise live animals and have them slaughtered and sell whole chicken/ turkey after slaughter. Also sell a processed beef by 25lb box of frozen beef or combo beef poultry?

I’m still in my first year of pressure canning meats. But after 7 or 8 batches of raw and pulled meat canning chicken, I have found I prefer raw pack with bone in, so that my broth in with the meat is bone broth. And I roast the leftover carcass and cook it with onion and herbs to make a quart or so per bird of overnight bone broth to pressure can the next day. I cook or air fry the skins separately and make schmaltz (rendered chicken fat) to put into a jar in the fridge for later cooking. So delicious!

I have a lot of distrust for any movement that blesses certain people as leaders and everyone else as followers. Bad leaders exist in abundance because sociopaths and psychopaths are disproportionately attracted to "leadership" positions. A father is not by any means necessarily a good father.

One day processing, one day to set-up, and another day to clean up and put everything away. It's lovely here now on Indiana. We have never managed to start ours early enough to be done by June 1st!

I was raised on a farm. We raised all our own meat, vegetables & eggs. To me, the worst chore was plucking chickens! I also showed all the livestock (except chickens), that was my favorite part of it all.
