Some of those seem to be just RNG and Firkraag getting dragon fear off through magic resist. Basically get dragon fear off = win.

Is this "Core Rules" difficulty? Also, Firkraag had almost full health and died suddenly, in one or two hits? Was he hurting himself with the critical misses? (or was that only in Fallout?) In any case, vampires look lore-breakingly OP here. Thank you for sharing this!

Catching up on your videos. I actually just started Neverwinter Nights II for the first time a few months ago, and so far really like it. I've been playing the first game for 15+ years now. Did you get this off GOG or is it the disc version? I think it used to be on steam and it disappeared from existence with no warning around 2013. The only way you can get the Mysteries of Westgate expansion is through GOG now, tried looking for a disc version and no luck. As for an enhanced edition, I think this game is in the same category as Icewind Dale II, where the old codes are lost to history to make it. Unless someone has it in a warehouse on a disc or hard drive somewhere, it might not ever happen unfortunately.

Now that was fun to watch. As for the line "No! You shall not use my own against me!" I have to say that's not something I've ever seen Demogorgon say before. I take it that's something he would say if you were to summon Demons for the fight in a normal playthrough? Of all the times I played Baldurs Gate II; I never summoned demons always leaned towards Elementals and Aerial Servants etc. Except for that one time I was feeling a bit mean-spirited. See I'd given Sir Sarles the real ore to complete a quest but I later decided I wanted it back again to upgrade the mace of disruption..... So I wanted to kill him without it technically being my fault and well I summoned a Pit Fiend that blew him to bits and I got the ore without losing rep :D

That was very interesting to watch. Part of me was thinking surely he can't take on the dragon too? Surprisingly he just about did despite all the damage he took. Those Adamantite Golems are tough buggers. Never would have thought how resistant they were to Demogorgon's attacks. They certainly survive long enough to do some damage.

Very fun to watch! I think it'd be even faster if Demo had his Glabrezu summons and his massive regen like he does in Watcher's Keep. Pretty awesome that he was immune to Time Stop, too.

Neat video, I solo'd the Demon Knight with a lvl 8 Kensai, making liberal use of potions and throwing knives. Solo runs in these sorts of games really make you strategize.

I've just finished the game with half orc Shaman solo, Amelissana wasn't that difficult - more difficult was Irenicus with the tactics mod.

I'm genuinely surprised Demogorgon did not do better. The Ravager is incredible. Despite the series being over, I still hope you return to Baldur's Gate someday. The Black Pits missions still need to be conquered.

And so the series ends, and a heroic fight at that. I always chose to stay mortal in the end. Can't ever get enough of this game series. If I ever finally sit down to start a gaming channel, I might start with Baldur's Gate. If I had a vote for the next game, I would suggest doing KOTOR I and II, but maybe that's a project to tackle leading up to the remake if it ever sees the light of day. Good way to build momentum. Neverwinter Nights would be fun too.

My game glitched like that during the Aec'Letec fight. The cultists just stand there and get murdered while the demon only uses slash attacks after his initial gaze. Do you have SCS installed?

It's been SO long since I saw any of these encounters without SCS, that it took me a while to figure out what was going on, here. 'Why is Sarevok taking damage with his goons around?' and 'Why is Aex'Latac not doing his gaze attack?'

Regarding the pathfinder that has been mentioned, it takes time to learn the game, but overall the difficulty level is easier than Baldur's Gate1 and Baldur's Gate2, but the game is very informative, but full of bad puzzle design, and has as many bugs as Baldur's Gate2 EE. The game is very rich in content, but full of bad puzzle design, bad crusader subsystem design, and just as many bugs as Baldur's Gate2 EE. Overall I recommend Pathfinder WOTR, but not kingmaker. And it's a shame there's no chromatic demon in this video.

Wait, I didn't even know there were purple dragon in this game. Did they put them in the game? I remember Abazigal being able to cast Kai and Whirlwind, and it looks like the script isn't working properly.

I would take advantage of the blue dragon scale armor. The electrical resistance goes a long way. Might be my favorite armor in this game. I think the poison fail head is in a slime room on the second level for Watcher's Keep. I actually didn't complete Watcher's Keep the first time I played this game. It got way too difficult for me and I had to abandon the mission after the second or third level. Since then, I have completed it twice. One of those attempts was almost completed during Shadows of Amn still, but you have to be level 21 or better to get through the later levels. Haven't found a way to complete it yet at level 17. I would recommend having at least a few of your party members with the energy blades ability. I find that to be extremely helpful.
