Anyone know what "Zebra Pippen" and "Zebra Trojan" mean? I know "Zebra" means the "Z" receiver, but what do Pippen and Trojan mean?

I grew up an NFL fan and I always felt the AFL liked to take credit for so many things. Yes the AFL passed more than the NFL but stats will show you the NFL was the more efficient passing league. Initial QB's in the AFL were either NFL backups, rejects or old players. It really wasn't until the AFL developed their own QB's that the league overall developed parity with the NFL. Sid Gillman was a offensive passing pioneer, . The offense he ran in the NFL was the very same offense he ran with the LA Rams in the late 1950's in the NFL. Modern and current concepts such as the shotgun offense, zone coverages, all have NFL origins. The AFL developed great talent and teams, but talk like the AFL was somehow more inventive or more modern is not based in truth.

Bill Walsh has selective memory. The Bears destroyed his offense in ‘85 and the Giants crushed his team in ‘86. He had an amazing career, but he’s entertaining an audience, so it really is just him running his mouth.

Boy that took balls when that elevator operator in New Orleans said "boy look at all of these monkies...where did all of these black monkies come from? "when the players stepped inside. Really surprised the players didn't beat that guy to a pulp...imagine saying that today???...still love the AFL even today.

Born a damn Bear fan but Walsh was right here and for the long run. Only way Buddy ever beat him was with superior Defensive talent for a very short period of time. Anybody can't accept that has head up coolu...fact.

16:56 I’m a Raider fan. When I heard that the Raider franchise was actually almost folded I was surprised. But because Ralph Wilson, the former owner of the Bills, want to help Wayne Valley, the former owner of the Raiders, and he lent $400,000 to the then financially troubled team. I’m very glad that the Raiders are still in the NFL and I want to thank Mr. Wilson for keeping the Raider franchise alive. If he didn’t do that, there will be no connection to the cities of Oakland, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas and all of Raider Nation.

How ‘bout them Buffalo Bills? Forget missing the Super Bowl by a dropped TD in ‘89, losing 4 in a row, missing out on ‘99, and 13 Seconds… imagine being BACK TO BACK CHAMPIONS the year before they called it the Super Bowl? The Curse is real, and she’s one sick, sinister bi***.
