I liked James mentioning 'breaking character'. I always wondered(not too hard, in a lot of cases) if the performers i regularly see are in character and not just themselves being funny. I would love to know which bars they went to, HK is a special kind of place to go out on an all night bender. I saw Greg do his You Magnificent Beast show to a tiny crowd in a small curry house in Wanchai and it was one of the funniest nights of my life. Oh! And that's Barry Castagnola! I totally didn't twig until now. He did the warm up act before Greg's and was sensational. Brilliant comedian!

That was one of my favorite tasks.

Recently I have become what I term a "high functioning crazy person" after a stroke. Seeing this I wonder how many comedians I like are like me.... Rhod seems to have about my kind of memory here.. I can remeber things for 30 minutes orso.. then after two days, if you remind me I know it.. I still know it, but for the first time. It doesn´t make sense, so I do and say very unexpected things.. Comedians just learned how to turn indignation into laughter. In the edit the make it seem deliberate.. Is that how it works?

Taskmaster is one of the only television shows I genuinely loved in the past 2 decades. So original. And that series with you two was the best one.

I used to consider Rhodd a smart person until I started listening to these podcasts and now I'm not sure anymore. Either, he's an absolute moron or he does it for show and goes with all the crap that others invent in order to be featured. I hope it's the latter, as that'd be forgiveable at least.

The story is absolute horse shit. Not even the most backwards, end of the port warehouse, dropped out of school at the age of 8 employee, would've inflated the doll and packaged it like that. Most of all because it would've been a huge pain in the ass without destroying it. And there's also no freaking way that not a single dumbass in shipping stabbed the thing. The podcast follower came up with this crap and basta. Do people really think that these dolls come out of production inflated and get distributed as such? That's just utterly moronic!

I sympathize with both James and Rhod. I have severe adhd and Rhods behavior combined with James reaction is cringingly familiar.

Disappointing to find out that the Prized Task is completely fake.

I've always eaten a digestive chocolate side down because whatever you put on your tongue is what you taste the most. I just always thought that was logical, until school when it became incredibly obvious that not one other person there ate them the same way as me and it was made clear to me that I was "eating it wrong" 😂😂

Was woken up one morning by my friend’s wife yelling at him while he was getting ready for work in the bathroom next to the room I was sleeping in. She was pissed that we stayed up really late getting drunk. I couldn’t fall back asleep and decided to drive the hour home. Head pounding like a funking drum, I start spewing vomit on my passenger seat and floor board. I live in country, so there were no gas stations around to stop and clean it out. Only pine trees. That was the least of the absolutely stupid things I did while drinking. A funking miracle I didn’t kill someone driving blind drunk regularly. 8 years sober. Very, very lucky.

Loved the show. Taskmaster had a missed opportunity to take the bits to the Repair Shop show. That would have been a good bit. Cheers!
