Excuse me, which country and region is this?
@greyhame9 ай бұрын
This is British Columbia, Canada. I would describe it as the south central coast of British Columbia. If you have ever seen Island of the Sea Wolves on Netflix, it's a region similar to the area shown in that film, the coastal temperate rainforest of BC

@@greyhame Thank you! Unfortunately, I have not. But I have read research about wolves in BC coastal areas and I recently watched the Rick Andrews Films movie about coastal wolves. Thank you for your videos. The wolf jumping at the camera was very funny :)

@@ievazarina7300 It looks like Rick Andrews was filming in the Great Bear Rainforest. My videos were shot just south of that region that he highlights in the sea wolves film. Very similar ecology and it may be the same population and subspecies of wolf. It’s hard to know for sure without DNA testing. It’s possible several different populations of wolves, including the Great Bear coastal wolves, can reach this location and may mix here

@@greyhame It is a very beautiful and unique place. I cannot wait until the evening when I have time to watch more of your wolf videos.

BC - I prefer to keep the exact location sort of vague, but I'd describe it as south-central coast of BC

Thanks. It makes sense now. The fauna ( ferns ) and color of these wolves was throwing me off. Very unique looking wolves. I completely understand you wanting to keep the location to yourself. Again, thanks for sharing and great camera placement. Lee
