I love how you put my friends video of the hotel in there. I first met him at the annual fanimation trip in 2018. Watched his videos for even longer. I still see him at those trips each year.

Shame what happened to this place. The Hollidome aesthetic is something I hope to see in person someday. Also, shame (presumably) the "renovations" demolished much of the slides as can be seen in the urbex videos of the place, they could have been relocated elsewhere (a public pool with waterslides isn't unheard of). Now, Maui Sands in Sandusky is in a similar situation minus the demolished slides. I really hope their slides het relocated (Great Wolf could really use a star attraction like that bowl slide rotting at Maui Sands if you want to stay in Sandusky)

If the owner of the hotel actually took very good care of this hotel, it would’ve still been standing today and I honestly feel bad for the people that had a bad experience at this hotel because although it may seem like a fun hotel in terms of looks, it should’ve at least been well taken care of by the owner and the staff should’ve been more nicer

I agree! While some things may be out of control such as dirty guests and guests who are disrespectful to the property, nice and helpful staff is something that can be controlled! When I was looking through reviews and compiling which ones I wanted to use in this video, their countless reviews saying the staff was rude to customers. I went when I was younger, and don't remember much from my trip, but I'm sure there were a lot of people who really enjoyed being there. It's sad to watch something go downhill relatively quickly, but it seems that poor reviews were being written even in the early days of the hotel and waterpark opening - maybe it was doomed to fail from the start. Hard to tell nowadays since it's been torn down and there aren't much in terms of factual records on the building; it was very hard to find information about the building! Most of the information I was able to gather was from reviews and short news articles.

loved this. Thanks for doing all that comparison work! I feel the pain of not being able to move titles, stack more than 2 video clips etc. iMovie was a good place to learn the basics but I'm ready to move on.

So basically its go through the tedious process in iMovie and save $300, or invest in final cut pro... good info, thanks

nice video man! I’m thinking about transitioning from iMovie to Final Cut but Final Cut seems a lot more complex than iMovie and I don’t really want to go through the process of learning where everything is again :(
@brettsedits27414 жыл бұрын
That is completely understandable. I learned how to use Final Cut Pro through a class in school, so making the switch was easy for me. There are plenty of other KZfaq videos out there with tutorials that show you how to do really cool things in Final Cut Pro, so, whenever you're ready to make the switch, you can always look up how to do something!

Great video. Explained well, however I have one comment about sound. As you changed from one video to another, I had to change my volume because in one clip your volume was up and in the next it was to low. Maybe do another on how to correct the volume so it is the same for the whole production. All in all, I did enjoy your demonstration and will now probably buy Final Cut Pro. Thanks. Frank

Final Cut Pro X is so much better than iMovie, I used to edit my videos in iMovie but then I realized how much more Final Cut could do so I saved up, So iMovie is great for beginners but Final Cut is the one to get for professional video! :D *Also this was a good video Brett* *I Subscribed to your channel!!*
