So I just did this repair to my SC, and it was the other lens. I purchased a new lens off ebay (from China directly) and it looks good. I did repair, no issues, although I had to unscrew the entire lens component and slightly, bend it back, replace the lens and the screws. Put it all back together, what I thought was successfully. Now it won't power on. I did not mess with any other components so what could be the problem? Thoughts? Im wondering if I loosened the battery -to-power connection??

When I enter the geolocalisation info and click 'Open Map', I get a Google error that says, "This page can't load Google Maps correctly." Tried on two different browsers. Any idea why?

@360bigskymedia2 Жыл бұрын
Hi Tim, thanks for the Sub, I use Canva for all of that, I treated my Logo in Canva and then just created another one for the Nadir. You can then upload it and add it as a hotspot, then right-click and set it as Nadir for all. In the Hotspot properties, you can change size, position, and transparency and also add a hotspot action to the external website

Great Tutorial Sir !!! This is my first tour. I am from Bulgaria and a novice user. I got into virtual tours two months ago. My wife and I are engineers by profession. She's in computing, I'm an electrical engineer. We are both retired now. We have a small place for recreation and gardening. She has several very beautiful flower gardens there, the photos of which she sometimes shows on social networks. Through our son, we learned about virtual tours more seriously. Since we have worked with various CAD systems as well as image processing products - AutoCAD since 1985, Photoshop and CorelDraw since 1992, we decided to try to show our place, as well as other interesting places we visit. Our son provided us with a Theta Z1 camera and referred us to Theasys. Now the weather does not allow us to be outside much and we hope to have more time to devote to such an activity. Naturally there is much to learn, and I have already begun. I hope to learn a lot from the group members and make interesting tours. With respect for your work.

Besides Amazon etc., is it possible to host the virtual tour on a regular UNIX web server? How many files come in the downloaded zipped folder and what size/s are they? If my client has a website, he would naturally like his virtual tour to be hosted on his own web server. Once you download the tour, does it disappear from Theasys? If I make amendments to the tour, do I pay again to download the amended tour? Sorry, too many questions.
@360bigskymedia22 жыл бұрын
Ok, Unix I don't know sorry, not something I use, How may files is obviously subject to the size and complexity of the tour, however this tour, www.virtualtourprofessionals.co.uk/clienttours/AbilaLtd/ is about 300MB in size and hosted on my other business site, so its easy to FTP up and over. Does the tour disappear from Theasys, NO, its still there and you only pay to download once, but you would need to download every time you update if if a new feature comes along and you want to use it, the upload to the customers service. This is why I host very few Theasys tours, simple reason, why would you if its included. You could always charge a nominal fee to keep the tour active and have it still hosted on Theasys , who also use Amazon AWS

Where do you host your virtual tours? Are there any sites that will host virtual tours for free or a very reasonable price? Monthly subscription is not a good option for me, as I don't make many tours. Imainly do it as a hobby, not a business.
@360bigskymedia22 жыл бұрын
The only way to host cheaply, very cheaply is with Amazon Aws, however I use 3dVista to produce those files and its not a cheap programme. Theasys allows you to download a tour for $10 but the free version limits you to 5 panoramas, they are the only ones I know

@@360bigskymedia2 No their response and I quote We do not supply the connector separately. In order to receive a replacement please return the camera to your supplier for a replacement.
