I was so surprised to see this video, i was a design draftsman who worked in the development of this machine from a simple stretch wrap wrapping machine with a set of rotating blocker rolls to the item you see in the video. All design work carried out in a small workshop (5 people) in Dromana, Victoria, Australia. There were many previous similar designs but we had the one that actually worked and was put into production. We developed the original carrige for 500mm bore coils and the adapted a carriage and trailer for the 400mm bore coils. I still have a hand drawn exploded view of the 500mm bore carriage.
