I really hated Logan,so I took it as a good thing that Deadpool dissed it in the beginning.

They both literally and figuratively dig up Logan and desecrate his corpse that's pretty self aware. Plot hole: How is it that Wade didn't do that already and sell the adamantium on the black market if he knew where his grave was? I mean that's got to be millions of dollars.

I fail to see how bringing him back after his death just to throw a bunch of braindead middle school 'jokes' at him is being respectful to the character...

It doesn't ruin it but I still say it would have been better of this movie existed before Logan and all the business stuff aligned sooner. You can't get a better send off to an actor playing a comic book character than Logan. In this past era of studios scrambling to put up something with capes and a connected universe to chase marvel with, there have been so many reboots and unfinished stories. Nobody got it as good as Jackmans Logan exit. DW was entertaining, I liked the movie a whole lot. Jackman and Reynolds are great casting for the character, Up their with P stewart as Chuck. It was funny. It was cool to see the cameos they got. It was not particularly emotional, and nowhere near the highs of Logan in that regard. It is inherently weird to see the actor back and do this kind of free for all comedy team up as the appearance after Logan. It just doesn't have the same weight. Logan is the best comic book movie cap stone I have ever seen. You literally cant disturb it is a 100% respectful way in my opinion. It goes down smoother because at least it was a good movie, but thats not the same thing as being respectful. It just helps distract you from the big hollywood disney apparatus in the background that wants to resurrect anything profitable no matter how dumb. The first Alien from Alien. The emperor from starwars ect. And I get it, hes a variant. Cool. Why does x23 mean anything to him? She is a stranger to him, her words mean about as much as Electra coming out to talk with him. I think an OG Xmen cast member would have fit better there.

I just laugh at anyone whining about Iron Man or Logan being ruined when we've been knee deep in this multiverse era of movies for a good while now. Like the entire point is that there are multiple versions of characters, different histories, etc. It doesn't take away anything from the movies we've gotten already. Multiverse of Madness and No Way Home literally made this incredibly easy to understand and these are the movies most marvel fans were watching before dropping off.

Just feels like a love note to me one of my favourite parts of fiction is deadpool and wolverines relationship and they adapted it perfectly

I love how you highlighted he's constantly compared to the Prime Logan, because I loved the reactions he had or the thoughts you can see in this Logan when compared. Like how when Deadpool says "Least the other Wolverine did!" Logan twists his claws in his leg as if to say "Stop comparing me!"

this is why i don’t get people who are mad about rdj returning as doom. he’s a phenomenal actor and i can see a lot of ways that they can tell a compelling story that doesn’t attract attention to rdj as disrespecting ironmans death

Yeah, I don't understand those people myself, how can this movie ruin Logan movie. Like, it's not even the same character! Sure, he is still played by Hugh Jackman because.. well, why not? He is the best as live action Wolverine, but it doesn't mean that it ruins original Logan because, like I said, it is not the same character. And like you said in your video that, we even see his skeleton in the opening scene, and thus we know that he is dead. So yeah, those people who complaining are either stupid, or they just trolling around everyone who loves this movie. I personally love it and I see no problem with it, because everything was explained in details.

Wolverine was also the only thing worth a sh#t to come out of Canada.

I've seen Deadpool and Wolverine 3 times in cinemas and it makes me so happy to see the movie succeed! I love love LOVE a film that doesn't retcon past events; thank you, Shawn, Ryan and Hugh! Many congratulations! 🥳🥳🥳

This movie was so entertaining! I hope Reynolds gets an executive position on the Marvel/Disney board because he can save the franchise ... he seems to know what fans want. And ater seeing Oppenheimer, I am very much looking forward to seeing Downey play the villain.

The literal intro was Deadpool digging up Logan’s corpse
