@@atmoff-road thanks very much. How is the Defender for trail riding? I’m about to pull the trigger on one.
@atmoff-roadАй бұрын
I would say great if it’s not to bumpy. I put Fox QS3 shocks on mine to help the roly-poly from side to side it helped with that but the regular trail bumps not so much. It’s hard to work with only 8 inches of travel. I also found it nervous on the roads left and right. The suspension geometry is just not there for higher speed trail riding with bumps. I was trying to polish a turd. I’m sorry to say.

I sold my Defender and got a Polaris Xpedition XP 1000. If you want a buggy that does everything very well, the Xpedition is the buggy.

The Defender Limited that l had was my first experience with an enclosed cab. I gave up a lot of power and suspension coming from an X3 XRC 72”. But the enclosed cab of the Defender changed everything for me. And l put up with the lack of power and suspension of the Defender because of the cab. Spend the money and go for the Xpedition. I’m sorry to say but if you like to ride aggressively through the trails,you will not be happy with the Defender.

Hello, some suggestions. Please don't take this as a bad comment. Next time to improve it be good if you have one move position (what do I mean by that?). I mean for example if your drone was on active track in the left side of your car make a smooth transition slowly to the right side so then it will create a flow. I also think another shot detail will be doing circles in your atv as your drone is slowly going upwards showcasing a bigger view of the field. And final part is you can showcase how the track looks like in multiple side going a smooth direction before revealing atv. Other then that I think this videos a great presentation and can't wait for you to improve better and more efficient in the following videos. - From the CEO of Hubert Pro Studio’s.

Curious what the outcome is........................I have a 23 and I have not used it much (200 miles) but I cannot imagine it riding any better than it does with what the factory did to it. What is different? Thx.
@atmoff-road4 ай бұрын
Hello Grant, I haven't done a lot of riding yet with the new shocks. But it dose control the body roll better than the stock shocks. Once l have some more time with the new shocks I will up date the post.Cheers

@@atmoff-road Looking forward to it. Did you happen to measure before and after lift? Also curious if there is any difference in articulation. I could use something to keep more tire on the ground in some of the places I have taking mine in the couple hundred miles I have driven it. Bought it back in August and have it at my house in Idaho, but I have not been to my house in Idaho since September so its sitting in the garage not getting used. Hopefully not full of mice. Could also be that I just have not been in it enough, BUT sure seems top heavy and in the 200 miles I have used it in the mountains I have bailed out twice before it tipped (probably me being overly cautious) but it seems to be heavy up high, narrow and not enough wheel travel. I hate the idea of wheel spacers, but it needs something IMHO. I also closed the purchase 3 days before the 2024's were announced and I was suicidal for a few weeks at missing out on the front smart lock vs. the 2023 (complete garbage visco lock). As soon as I can learn if the dealer can swap the front end and add a smart locker I am headed that way for sure. 3 wheel drive at best currently.

They are better than the stock shocks. The QS3's help with the body roll and make for a smoother ride. I haven't put alot of miles on them yet to give a full review.
