Creatively bankrupt does sting a little bit, but I understand that the creature designs can definitely be improved and aren't where I want them to be either. The majority of the concept art for them is at least a year old, not trying to make excuses but I have learned a good bit since then and I can now hire on more artists to help with the concept art and improving the creature designs which I'm really excited about! I have spent quite a few years essentially drawing the same thing over and over again, so breaking out of those habits has been a challenge, but getting more input from other artists has helped a lot. I get what you mean though, the niche they fill should be visually apparent at the very least, and some of the creatures need more variety added to them. and thank you! that means a lot hearing it from you, I've watched a good few of your videos and getting even a snippet of input from you on my game is really appreciated!

The ones they have at the moment look straight out of those quick and unimaginative animal mix adoptables posing as closed species that sell for hundreds. Just classic "existing animal but reptile/wolf whatever" in literal, nothing unique about them
