I did mine myself. Ice cube and needle. 3 in each lobe. A long long time ago lol when I was a teenager. Never had any problems. My mom was an RN and showed me how to care for them. The ones I spent $300 on bothered me the most. Go figure.

I take my earrings out twice a week and clean them, otherwise they get gunky and gross. That’s nasty.

One time I used a flat back earring only for the backing to get lodged into my infected piercing hole. Needless to say I’m definitely on board with keeping my butterfly backings in😅

I have a question, I had a conch pierced with a needle in a piercing and tattoo shop but she put me like a septum half ring the one with two balls (idk about jewelry much) anyways one of the balls came out and the piercing came out and i got to put it back but now i have a bump red, blood ect, so i went for a titanium stud with flat back and change it bc idk where the septum ball fell so i knew the ring it was going to keep coming out but deff felt more comfortable as soon as i change it for the stud but im worry bc i know it was a premature change of jewerly im scare

Use earring gun only on the soft earlobe the harder cartilage part should be pirced with a needle. The gun ripps through tissue while the needle😮 punches and gives the piercing a hole to sit in and heal. Bonus a piercing gives enough space to heal

I'm very sorry but my daughter had the most traumatic time with flat backs so basically the whole of the flat back and the piercing went into my ear ( only one of ears ) and i had to go to ane bc it wouldnt come out there was puss and blood everywhere . And a couple of days later the other piercing went into my ear but I was able to this one out myself but still very traumatic for a 11 year old

I just gave myself a helix piercing last night by myself and it actually went well

That happened with my third piercing. It hurt so much! I had to just let it close

I had a butterfly back, it twisted and i wasn't able to take it off had to get two family members, one to hold me still and the other to pull.

That is a flat piercing not a snug.

When I was younger my earrings had butterfly backings and it was on my lobes, but a few weeks after I changed to new ones the backs were gone and turns out that they were swallowed up into the back of my ears and I had to get them ripped out with no sedation 😭. Moral of the story, TURN YOUR EARRINGS AND USE GOOD QUALITY ONES.

I got my 3rd lobe piercing about 2-3 days ago and The piercer didn’t have any jewelry so i brought some small hoops but apparently they where to heavy but still put them in and now i wanna change them cause i can’t sleep should I change them???
