Blame the hyper panicky, scared of their own shadow, morons for this poor creatures death. It's like that baby fawn, Giggles, that was rescued and was being held a no-kill shelter awaiting transport to a sanctuary. When these agents found out she was there, they sat in the bushes outside like soldiers to get a picture of her so they could rush it to a Judge and get a search warrant and everything just so they could seize poor Giggles and put a bolt in her head. And they were PROUD of themselves for it! Talk about waste. Yep John Q Public paid multiple agents to deploy this search and seize operation.... All for the Glory of killing a TERRIFIED little fawn before the rescue could send her to a sanctuary. She was due to be transferred to the sanctuary the very next morning.

I watched the entire video and it did not seem that the Elk was ever in a rut. rut noun: rut; plural noun: ruts 1. a long deep track made by the repeated passage of the wheels of vehicles.

Its not a boohoo issue, I hunt and have no problem with killing an elk. I just think people who feed wild animals do more harm than good for the animal. This is a case in point. Feed an elk, watch it get shot by MFW&P. They are not domestic pets.

I am amazed at the tree hugging Granola munching loons posting on this video. it is clear that the Elk was at the SUV in front of the bike. it left and paid a visit to the bike. If people missed the memo this animal is large and can actually hurt people on a bike (even if it did not mean to). The people on the bike moved away from the elk and Heather captured video of the elk when he decided to chase after them. If this animal was put down it was because it had become a nuisance So relax People
