Try hooking the motor up directly to 12 volts and see if you get maximum speed if you don't then there's something wrong with your motor if you do then work back from there making sure that you are hooking everything up right. You may have a bad rheostat on your circuit board.

Bought a button board replacement for $11 and am going to test to see if that is main culprit for the fan dying out of know where first, hopefully should be here this week or next. But I might as well just buy these and keep it in case it is in fact the board that is dead. I don't use the auto temp setting so I don't need that. Only question is how would you make it do both exhaust and intake? From former Dug-van renters: Dug and his camper van were awesome! First of all, Dug was a kind, informative and responsive host when we were in need of assistance. The van felt very comfortable and safe, even compared to some of the Airbnb's we stayed at during our trip. The vehicle drives really well, the mattress is so comfortable, the electric cooler/fridge kept our poke fresh for two days without a problem, and the vent and dimming-light system made our nights very relaxing. Lastly, the stove and kitchen supplies were very well stocked. I would recommend renting out Dug's van any day.

We rented Doug's van in Kona March 2022 for 7 days. Doug was super accommodating, picking us up late at the airport, and in 10 minutes we were in the van. The bed was super comfortable, with a great lighting system and a ton of usb charging. the road shower is nice and warm, great to rinse off after the beach. We took full advantage of the chairs and umbrella, as well as the snorkel gear and boogie boards. We spent 7 days exploring the island, we have a van at home and love the nomad lifestyle, so it was a different location every night. I doubt there is a better way to experience the big island, when you're in a van, you're really feeling the vibe, the nature and the road. Hotel/resort stays where you retreat to your room and watch tv don't compare. How many times do you leave a hotel in a rental car and realize you forgot something? Never when your vehicle is your hotel. Arrive at a secluded beach and want to stay, no problem, we always have a day or two worth of food and beer onboard. Propane stove works well and we could have coffee or instant noodles anytime we felt the urge. The van drives well, new tires, and the solar system provides lots of power. It is a one ton van, so it can be a bit bouncy on the rougher roads, expect to hear rattles and shakes, it's part of the experience. Only the passenger side power lock unlocks the whole van, so my wife was treated to me opening her door every time we returned, we called it the chivalry package, again adding to the experience. We never had an issue free camping, and spent all but one night with an ocean view. We follow the boondocking code, arrive late, leave early, stay only one night and leave no trace. Cell service is excellent and we used a phone as a hotspot for our laptops. Google maps worked flawlessly and led us to many gastronomic delights, as well as all the natural wonders of the big island. 10/10 we will do it again. We are configuring our trip to Portugal in the fall, no airbnb, it is a campervan in europe for us. Mahalo Doug, we are forever changed by our aloha experience.
