Good bit of roaring through Rowley there Mr. H and almost bowled by a flower head at the end. I think your camcorder does the long zoom shots better than mine. At the Birmingham end of the shots, that's a big building in the distance, is it a block of flats or something new? I noticed it last time I was at Rowley.

Is it flats on Kenrick Way? Just looked at satellite view and they show up in a straight line from where you stood.

Did you hear me swear when that unit pulled away? Well & truly bowled I was on the other platform. I don't know why it took them so long to get that 196 unit away, they seemed to be there ages.

Good one Mr. H. - I had looked at times for Old Hill & had noticed it was due around the same time as a unit & chose Rowley instead. Nice steady speed, obviously amber signals as booked into Rowley loop, as were some units later in the day, and I travelled on one of them!!!

Nice video, Andy. Definitely larger crowd than LOB! Only two of us on the Bromsgrove bound side and a few on the opposite platform. No mention in any of the local media today to boost numbers. 😂

Thanks - no, it's not the dark side, so everything ran on time, and we were ok....Yes, I've noticed before that pointwork causes things to sway quite a bit...if you're on a train heading south, wait till after Barnt Green to pick up your hot drink !!

Good to see my favourite tramways trams still running but on heritage soil. Huge fan of the Blackpool fleet, seeing standard car 40 with two cars in the heritage fleet still in Blackpool 147 having major overhaul but her bogies are not and put under 143 same livery as 40 but if in Blackpool be 140 but omg 😢 607 former travel card livery she was thought she went with 605+606 to San Francisco I got that wrong. 3 of her sisters still travel along the prom when they can 600 Duchess of Cornwall 227 (602) Charlie caroli the famous clown of the tower in same livery red and cream BC as 40 and 604 George formby OBE
