I’ve used this video at least 10 times to get our bunk up and down. Unfortunately we don’t seem to be able to recalibrate it and it appears to be uneven in the tracks but at least we can get it up and down. Thank you so very much!!!

Can you speak to the leveling block concept in that I see some folks put them under the jacks as well as some put them under the rv tires? I've had 2 instances where I am so unlevel the front tires come up and adding blocks under the jqcks did nothing except take the coach up higher? Are the concave -rive-on to type levelers any better?

You need to add one very important step that is not mentioned in the video. Preheat the Truma Hot Water before doing anything with the Shower Miser!

The charger for a LFP4 battery charges at 14.7 , so if this charger doesn't charge at 14.7 then a memory will build up in a LFP4 battery and not fully charge the battery. Someone correct me if I'm wrong!

I bought a B van in May 2023. I loved the many off-road features, lithium, suspension, and more. It was dirty and needed a good wash and interior cleaning. My neighbor offered and did a good job. Unfortunately, He decided to get extremely intoxicated and drove it through his garage and totaled my van. My husband is a totally disabled Vietnam vet and now I have no way to get him to his doctor appointments. We are devastated beyond belief. I am actively searching for a replacement and a used coachmen transit is at the top of my list. I am wondering if you have a recommendation or suggestion. The new coachmen’s are amazing but way out of my budget. My husband is now in hospice, unfortunately. Camping was something we enjoyed together so I plan to go solo when the time comes.. I think it will help to comfort me.

Based on the channel, I’m assuming Coachmen actually produced or authorized this video. My question is why would Coachmen put together such an inaccurate and incomplete “how-to” winterize video? This video is definitely indicative of how much care they put into every other aspect of their fit and finish. Unbelievable. No mention of hot water bypass, replacing the drain plug back into the water heater before blowing the lines. No mention of how to connect your air hose to the inlet, and instead of using the winterization inlet , go ahead and just disconnect your water pump and connect the 4’ spare hose with appropriate fittings that I’m sure everyone has sitting in their garage. Be accurate, be complete, be better Coachmen.

Thank you for this information and video. We purchased a new 2022 Coachman Catalina Legacy 323BHSDCK in June of last year. The sink was cracked in a corner, the fridge did not seal properly, the roof had water intrusion, and one of the coax video cables was PIERCED by a screw (the cable for the front room TV). These were fixed by the dealer though It took nearly ALL winter to do it. Another thing I MUST comment on is the manufacturing debris that was left IN the coach by the factory AND the dealer! Metal drill shavings, wood shavings, sawdust everywhere, even down into the floor vents. Absolutely disgraceful the amount of junk that was just not cleaned out! Come on, GET WITH THE QUALITY CONTROL program! Other than that we've been happy with our 'Lina. Thank you!

Off subject, But does anyone know the whereabouts of the 6 foot tall fiberglass Dalmatian that was used in the back of a pickup to promote the Coachman brand in the 70’s and early 80’s. It came from Flannigans Rv in Dekalb IL originally and was donated to Coachman from the Chapter 92 Gadabouts Coachman Club when Flannigans quit carrying the Coachman franchise. If it still exists at the factory I would love to see it again. My dad used to ferry trailers from the factory to the Northern Illinois dealers.

Love this guy, many of you may know the abbrevatism of RTFM and he is the poster child. Of course all this stuff is in the manual but it is not like turning on a new coffee pot at home.
