I enjoyed Seasons 1 through 13 so much, in a TTRPG I was in, I ended up having my character play a speech inspired by Churchs in Season 13s finale. His speech still get me teary to this day.

The rise and fall of Lavernius Tucker honestly needs to be studied. He went from a sex-obsessed dork to a guy who single-handedly defended an alien temple for several months. From a guy who fought against badass agents to a guy who became a legitimately competent leader and soldier who would've been worthy of becoming a Freelancer...to an asshole who continued to whine about not being able to sleep with a girl, became a king who bailed as soon as his country got attacked and lost his most iconic weapon to a lame villain and never got it back. Thank god Restoration made it so he got SOME competency back. Dude managed to briefly regain control after having several voices inside his head screaming at him to crush one of his best friends neck. That's got to count for SOMETHING.

About how they managed to make two games at the same time and release them so close together, pocket dungeon originally started as an entirely original game called Puzzle Knights made by that Vine2d guy mentioned on the title screen, which released as a teeny tiny game on itch around april 2017. He almost immediately started working on a deluxe version of the game, but then at some time around 2019ish I think, yacht club swooped in and had the game reskinned into shovel knight instead! As for Dig, it was primarily worked on by Nitrome, a decently popular flash/mobile game team rather than yacht club themselves. Basically both games just had different people working on them, which I think makes it funny that both are roguelites with similar looking 32 bit-ish art styles

I used to thought Sarge was an AI after Reconstruction because i was like wait a minute church and sarge was in that one ethereal plane on Blood Glutch but that was never brought up

It took me half a week to find the collective time to watch this all and honestly? King of Cards is my favorite too that card game slaps. 10/10 vid thanks for your sacrifice of sanity.

Seasons 9 and 10 are just so weak to me. Don't get me wrong, the product values are amazing, Monty is amazing at what he does even if it's just ridiculously overly choreographed at times. But I couldn't care less about the freelancer stuff. The scenes drag on too long, I don't need to watch people fall out of a skyscraper for 5 minutes straight. The heart and charm of the show was always the Reds and Blues to me.
