There's no way you're telling me this train is on time! Why couldn't the passengers wait the 2 min for the next one? 😂

Cuz the next train is gonna be just as packed as this one which defeats the purpose of waiting lol. This is Tokyo were talking about here 😂

@@monica012077 Ikr. Tokyo does have 36 million people living in it so I see why rush hour is extremely packed like this

You gotta love the dedication these guys show. The moment they're done with one door they'll sprint to the next one to help their buddies get it closed.

Note to self. Don't go on Japanese trains during busy times to avoid getting traumatized.

Japan does so much so well. This... is not one of those things. Can't imagine what happens when the train gets stopped for an extended period (accidents and malfunctions happen!) or if it were to crash. How is this not safety-regulated out of existence?

People just stand there obstructing the doors from closing, patently waiting for the people stuffers to do their thing. And the people stuffers are polite enough to oblige. Anywhere else in the world, they'd be dragged back onto the platform.

One of the few, if not the only, uncivilised aspects of Japan. But at least that train would smell better than anyplace in India
