Is the liquid rubber gonna be toxic for the geckos in anyway? Will the geckos also be able to stick to and climb the liquid rubber like they do on glass?

Once cured the liquid rubber isn’t toxic for any animal. Also this was made with the intention of installing a background so no liquid rubber would be visible. And if there was I would think they’d be able to climb it.

it changes to white cause u force the polymers on the rubberband to become more ordered which then reflects the light differently making it seem more white, happens with othe colored elastics aswell

I’m going to try to redo my Pictus gecko tank and wanted to know if you knew of any plants that could survive with a bit less water and humidity but still looked somewhat tropical-ish.

I honestly haven’t worked much with dryer setups but from my experience zz plants and smaller types of dracaenas do really well without much water or humidity, I would recommend both of those. I’ve had tons in my setups and they’ve all thrived without much care.

Go in the wild female mantises only eat the male's head if there is no food available that claim was founded through a study that put mantises in small tanks and watch them constantly the stress caused the females to act in a way that is not natural just like how everybody got packed mentality from wolves that were caged it almost never happens in the wild that a female mantis eats the male's head that's not to say it doesn't happen but almost never

How big can a mantis get before it become dangerous to humans? A pitbull size mantis could take down a few people before it goes down 😬

The largest mantis in the world is about 7.8 inches but I wouldn’t consider it dangerous. There are some more aggressive species that could bite you but rarely would they be dangerous. The worst they’ll do is chew a little skin and possibly draw a tiny bit of blood but you’d be able to get them off before they do any damage.

They can but it’s rare. If they do attack you they’ll grab you with their raptoral claws which hurt more than the bite itself. However it’s very rare among captive bred mantids.

The wood on the inside is sealed with liquid rubber to protect it from water damage. The wood on the outside I probably should’ve sealed with polyurethane or something but it won’t be exposed to enough moisture to cause damage.

I would definitely fill in the bottom of the tank with more plants and Hardscape. I think universal rocks has those hollow rocks that you could easily turn into a small hide

Nice tank I would add sand and some more big underwater plants also add some of that underwater moss for on the wood it will look much more realistic and nature. Also try to add some other type of plants on the ground

Thank you for the suggestions! I did add aquatic moss to the original tank but it didn’t do well due to lack of light. If I add some better light I’ll definitely add moss though!
