@@aumipon btw, you can use water to achieve smoothness and use sandpaper after the clay dried so the finished product have a minimum crooked part

My biggest problem is getting the base smooth! The more i try to fix it the more lumpy it gets. Plus theres so many finger prints. How do you keep the thickness uniform and not lumpy?

I do what I show in the video! I just keep blending and blending until it’s smooth! It does take a long time though 😭 for finger prints, I’m gonna take a guess and say that maybe your clay is too soft? You can try to use a brand that is harder (like premo or fimo) to combat this 💕

I'm amazed by how you can manage to make such a tiny detail for your lovely keycaps💓 btw, have you tried to make keycaps with air dry clay? Just curious tho, i never seen any air dry clay keycaps on the internet hehe~

Thank you so much! I wouldn’t recommend air dry clay, as it dries, it shrinks! So I am assuming that it would shrink a lot and then start cracking on the keycap!

i get dust while mixing too! If I see a speck of dust, I’ll just pick it out with a blade, then keep mixing the clay! I hope that’ll help!
