Is there such a thing as too much juice on the first day? My son is going through an entire box of Honest juice. I can’t water it down because he won’t drink it out of the carton. 😢 I’m afraid he won’t nap. Plus, he’s on the spectrum and this much sugar isn’t good for his behavior.

What do you do if your kid just cant or will not sit or stay still in one spot....constantly moving, constantly running away...

We are on day 3 and it’s going great. Thank you! But… What does day 4 (AKA her first day after being trained) look like? My 28 month old goes to preschool half days. Do I just send her in undies? That feels so fast and scary, right? But going back to a diaper also seems wrong…? All advice welcomed!

Lol this reminds me of when we house trained my dog. I remember carrying him outside while peeing. My son is turning one in 2 weeks. Do you think it helps them to see Mom or Dad or sibling go potty? I know we have some time but want to do what I can to make it normal and not scary.... My nephew wouldn't do number 2 in the potty until 4

I don’t think apple juice is a good thing to recommend. Its a lot of sugar, water is better.

Just joining the crowd with how well this worked for my 2y2mo little girl! We are on day 2 right now. Day 1 was amazing with only 4 accidents, 11 successful pees (8 communicated on her own) and even 1 poop on the potty! Day 2 has been a little more rough. The feel of panties makes her feel like it’s safe to go. We’re on our 6th pair of panties before nap time, BUT she is starting to ask to go on her own again! It’s like she needed the morning to reorient herself to the deal. We are doing exactly as the video states!

This is ridiculous. Newborn gets hungry every few hours (3-4hours) also their diaper gets full by 3-4hours . Why would you want your newborn to sleep in their wet diaper for 12hours. Let put it this way would you want to sleep in your menstrual pad for 12hrs?

Baby is only 6 weeks old !? Mums out there: this is NOT old enough for sleep training. Its completely normal for a baby at this age to need parents, feeds at night, comfort and so on. Sleep training can start around 5 months

This method looks great, but i wish there was a method that allowed for both parents working who have no way of taking 3 consecutive days off to solely do this. Any suggestions?

How frequently were you bringing him to the toilet if he doesn’t ask?

My oldest I did a 3day potty training method around 18m. My son was the hardest and he showed signs of readiness a little after 2. I'm currently on my 3rd child and I introduced the potty around 9/10m but currently just potty trained her using the 3day method again and she's 17m. We do use panties/undies. We do lots of praise and excitement. With my oldest though we did do stickers and it worked but I didn't do that with child 2 or 3. We also do use the little seat on top of the potty. There's several ways to do the 3day method and I highly believe by it. It has worked with my 3 kids. I do have 1 more baby on the way and I'll do it with her too.

Just to let you know when you are potty training your child. Do not go from diaper to underwear to diapers to underwear. It will confuse the child and he won't remember if he is wearing a diaper or underwear. When potty training your child put underwear on him not a diaper or pull up. No matter what happens always put underwear on him especially when going out or sitting around the house or sleeping put underwear on. I did that and it worked. For my little girl

my toddler is going 18 months old… I started to potty train him .. 2nd day able to catch 2 pee and 1 poop! 3rd day 2 pee… 4th day 1 poop 3 pee… most of the time he does not agree to go to the bathroom but he likes the idea of flushing the toilet.. after giving lots of fluids i tried to encourage him to go to the bathroom every 10 to fifteen minutes… i observed him and does not see that he is trying to communicate to me whenever he needs to go… he does not initiate … does that mean he isn’t ready yet?? im thinking to stop and just try again at 20 months….. if he had accidents in the floor if its a poop he will cry or panicked if it is a pee he will play with it in frustration… by the way thank you for your video! so helpful and simple! I was excited to start doing it after i watched it! though I can’t fully say yet that i am successful in potty training my baby using your method still thank you!

Thank you mama. Today was day 1 for my 2 years and 8 months boy. I am so glad I have come across this video and this is the only video I have watched to educate myself. 1st day 0 accident. Just in 2 hours each time he told me that he needed to go. I started my day with all instructions you have given. He doesn't like juice so he was on water. I took him on timer of 15 mins two times but realised his pattern is 20 mins. Then next two timers 20 mins. Each time successful wee in a potty. After roughly two hours he started telling me he needs to go. I never thought it would be so easy. Thank you thank you so much. Fingers crossed for day 2 now.

15 minutes?! For some people it can take hours until they have to go. Sometimes it takes for our girl quite a bit of time as well. Everyone dont pee immediately after they drink.

I am trying every since 5 days but theres zero success. No diapers, 20 month old, im exhausted now. Found this video and will be going to try the juice and 15 mins method. I make him sit for long time and the moment he stands up, a few minutes after accident happens 😢

Id you cut your child off of drinking at a certain time and make them use the potty before bed it helps with the night time training

Wish me luck on getting this to work! I feel guilty because my son is a lot older (he's just over 3), but he hasn't really shown many signs of being ready until recently (he had a lot of speech delays and such, so could not follow directions). He will be starting kindergarten in September so we are hoping that we can get him potty trained now so that by September it's second nature.

So I’m on day 2 of potty training my 2.5 year old girl using this method. It’s almost the end of the day and she hasn’t had any successful pees or poops in the toilet today. She hasn’t even been having accidents in her underwear. She hasn’t been interested in the juice much so I suppose that is one thing that is different to what I’m seeing in the video. I don’t know what to do. If by the end of the day, she hasn’t had any successful pees or poops in the toilet, should I still proceed to day 3? UPDATE: she just had 3 accidents in her undies…so maybe that’s something? I still don’t know. If no successful pees or poops in the toilet by end of day, should I still proceed to day 3? Or maybe repeat day 2?

I'm getting ready to potty train my almost two year old! She'll be two next month. She's telling me when she poops and she often wakes up in the morning with a dry diaper, along with naps. It'll be a little extra challenging since I have a 2 month old as well 😅 fortunately she's taking longer naps now. I can't wait to see how it goes! I stocked up on juice, and I have undies with a built-in liner for her. I think she'll do great, she picks things up so quickly.

Hi Gabriela, just wanted to say thank you! It was grateful to find a 3-Day Method geared for younger toddlers. I adjusted/extended your method to use on my 14 month old son - We've done part-time EC with him since 3 months, but he hit a big regression. This method was the perfect "boot camp" to help us wrap up potty training! It's been 7 days now and he's had only 1 accident in the last 72 hours. We are SO proud of him! He's usually in his undies at home, but we've gone out with clothes on a few times with success. Whoo-hoo!

Your video was super useful, im so grateful you took the time to do this video. I have questions lol. Can I put a pull up or diaper on my daughter during the 3 potty training days when she is napping and at night time so she doesnt soak her bed with pee in her sleep? Also once she's successfully potty trained, can she have a pull up on at nights, and nap time since she may not be able to fully control her bladder yet. Last question. Once successfully potty trained can she wear pull ups during car rides just incase i can't get to her since I'd be driving? Thank you ❤

Good think but Video is way too long! Pediatric occupational Therapist video are way shorter and better. And who gives juice to 1 year old, that screams "diabetes" or overnight in the future, bad habits.

I am dreading having to potty train my twin boys. I potty trained my first boy at 20 months and it went well but this time I'm really nervous about it. I imagine two boys peeing at the same time and me having to choose which one to pick up lol
