Unfortunately that has to do with what console you're using, the skip only works without freezing (as far as we know in the community) on slim ps3s, playing on disc, and with the original hard drive installed. Unsure about the phat ps3, but super slims don't work, SSDs don't work either (even if you're using disc), and certain types of HDDs might not work either. The digital version of the game is also out of the question since that one also freezes. The only "digital" version that works is on a Slim PS3 with hdd using custom firmware and having the game installed directly on the hdd. It's a weird skip, we are still unsure what causes the freeze to begin with, because the hardware needed is very specific lmao

@@SerSanju ah, I see I was using my ps5 since I can stream ps3 games on there an I tried like 5 times an it always froze so I was unable to do the skip :/ Although I haven’t tried with the ps3 itself yet, it is a phat one lol But when I get around to my ps3 I’ll try it an let you know what happens. My first thoughts when it was freezing alot was maybe the fps but idk if it was but I trust what you say now about it. Thanks for letting me know dude! 🙏

@@SerSanju I also want to say to you since now I made contact with you That I’m a huge fan of infamous an believe it or not, I actually started playing it at a young age like 7… somewhere around there lol an now I’m 19 Originally it was my dads game but I was messing around an pressed on the game an started playing, an immediately, I was hooked an I loved it! I really hope sucker punch production revived the franchise an makes it like Cole is alive or something like that, from the storm that happened in that sequence comic scene at the end of infamous 2 But by far an personally, the first game is my No.1 for every reason, nostalgia, plot, villains an how big the free roam

On the PS3 you can just delete the update file if you play on the disc version of the game.
