Tame Impala is not on my top fav bands. And it wasn't my priority show to watch in 2023 Lollapalooza in São Paulo. I've been in a lot of shows in the last 30 years, this show was the best I've ever watched in my life. Looking foward for the next one now

I remember an interview - they needed a new singer and Peter Garret turned up in a very small car like a Honda civic - they all said this is the guy !!

Amazing performance & soundstage. So many tracks closely connected to previous years of listening times together w special events in life made me really emotional. And its now the year of 2024. The Oils has set their marks.

I grew up watching the Oils in pubs around Sydney... Besides the brilliance of the music writing, the lyrics, the performances, it was also a band that made us "aware" about greed , the corps ect.. And I always found it funny, sometimes , someone , at a gig, or online in this modern today, , says they'd wish Garrett would stop talking between some songs , and forget the politics, and just do music.... LOL..... I guess sometimes, it proves some people don't know whats in front of them, nor consider even the message....... Well.... at least FTW, they know good music.... ;)

I first saw Midnight Oil along with the band Lemmings supporting the Ramones at Festival Hall in Brisbane Australia in 1980. Hi from an old bloke Australian.

Verse 2] How could I love again? How could I ever ask for more? And to the road ahead Into a life I can't ignore (Lose her) How could I love again? (Move on) How can I walk this path for sure? (Lose her) With no more time to spare (Move on) I know the answer more and more [Chorus] As long as I can, long as I can Spend some time alone As long as I can, long as I can Be the man I am [Bridge] Ooh, life is strange For one more hour I can rage For one more hour [Chorus] As long as I can (Lose her), as long as I can (Move on) Spend some time alone As long as I can (Lose her), as long as I can (Move on) Remember who I am As long as I can (Lose her), as long as I can (Move on) Spend some time alone As long as I can (How could I love again?), as long as I can Be the man I am

I'm so glad I didn't go to this show. Much respect to midnight oil the heart, balls and brains they put into their music and live shows but, this is lame. This is not midnight oil. it's midnight oil covering their old songs. If I paid to see this show I'd be feeling really let down

Kevin creating, Dom, Jay, Cam and Julien playing with him. All from my homeland of Australia, two of them Perth in Kevin and Jay a bit, Dom bit of time here through Covid before touring again. Nothing better and yeah even pride as well, and they've all got their solo stuff particularly Jay going well there. As well as the others definitely solid, Kevin collabing in his own time away from the stuff for the band project. Tbh though Tame is a global thing now thanks to Kev and those guys live as well, just mean am feeling pride now watching this live one specifically
