Hello, I am sorry this is happening to you. I two had to send a KCT 22 back due to end shake but iwas sorted out correctly and have several hundred rounds through it afterwards without issue. Maybe they can send a replacement gun altogether.
@WheelgunsOnWheels2 күн бұрын
That is RIDICULOUS!! I’d be shocked and furious if this was what they sent back AFTER allegedly “repairing” this firearm. They should send you a new one AND throw in a new blued 4” python just to renew faith in their company.
@terryballard46742 күн бұрын
I just bought a Python, and it misfires 2 out of 6 times when you only pull the trigger, but it's OK when just pulling the hammer back. I guess it's going back to the factory.

Does your slide slide a little with the frame? I can’t find a video about it

I love my GP100 10-round 22 S, L and LR. I prefer a 5.5 semi-lug barrel profile. But like the full lug on the Colt Kodiak ported 44 magnum Anaconda.

At this point, they should either rebuild this revolver with all new parts, cylinder included, or take this gun back and send you a brand new one. The MIM process must have gone wrong someway somehow on this one. It's better they take this back and figure out what has gone wrong.
@nickb16903 күн бұрын
I looked at one of these a couple of months ago at Sportsman Warehouse. The cylinder end play was so bad that if you didn’t hold the cylinder to the rear when closing it would hit on the barrel shank and not close . Needless to say I left with my money in my pocket.

Thanks a lot I really appreciate your video cuz I have the same problem this is the fourth time I returned to Colt my target 357 Colt King Cobra I have owned numerous Colt pythons anacondas Colt Diamondback Trooper Mark III and I haven't had a problem with not one of those pistols this Colt King Cobra has been the worst gun I have ever the four times I had to deal with this problem it's been the same problem the trigger will not return back after I paid $1,200 for this one weapon and I haven't been able to shoot it four times thank you for your video so I know I'm not alone with these Colt problems
@TheWaterboy4523 күн бұрын
I think at this point I'd request/demand a replacement gun. My patience wouldn't stand much more.
@donvito26823 күн бұрын
I have a Colt Python with a 4.25 inch barrel..made in 2022. When I got it it had two problems. It wouldnt eject 357 cartridges after firing..and a timing problem that would cause it to jam. I sent it back to colt and they fixed it. Now it works fine.

Any chance that Colt would be coming out with this model in 22 mag?

Not sure if Colt is planning one. But it would be awesome.

I like the bead blasted finish and the case hardened trigger and hammer on the Smith but the Colt just looks badass. I’m holding out to see if they put out a blued version like they did with the new Python.

Nice! Is that the 629?
@MysteryWheelgunner6 күн бұрын
Yes. The 629 Competitor.
@solomongrundy97358 күн бұрын
Yeah, the Wilson Combat rear sight for the Anaconda is far better than the OEM.

After owning mine a month, i wish i had gotten the 4.25" instead of thr 6". It is front heavy
@MysteryWheelgunner10 күн бұрын
They also put a shorty grip on it. If they would put a proper target grip, I bet it would feel better balanced even with the 6" barrel.
@ChaohsiangChen10 күн бұрын
Finally fixed, or is it?
@MysteryWheelgunner10 күн бұрын
I filmed this one a while ago. This was before the KC started to have big problems. The KC is still at Colt.
@normrodriguez930610 күн бұрын
Try holding a little lower on the grip, the .44 is going to flip no matter what, this will stop it from bitting the base of your thumb. I have the three inch model

Rumor has it that the 617 has a PC trigger. Do you have any confirmation on that?
@MysteryWheelgunner17 күн бұрын
Not sure about newer ones, but mine does not have a PC trigger. I bought mine about eight or nine years ago. The trigger is good, but not PC good.

I've seen a few of these and NEVER seen one with a finish like this One, either It's been in a vault it's entire life or its been completely refinished the original way , but It is certainly remarkable outstanding stunning beautiful impeccable finished.

Yes. Those are the original grips.

I agree 100%. I’m on a Colt revolver buying kick lately. Picked up the 6”blue Python and the 6” King Cobra Target 22. Looking to add the 8” Anaconda shortly. Love the longer bbls. Longer sight radius, higher velocities and increased weight where you need it for recoil mitigation. And let’s face it, these are range toys first and foremost imo.

I AGREE WITH YOUR CONCLUSION when shooting CCI QUIETS in ANY 22LR PISTOL. WHAT YOU NEED TO DO is find the LONGEST BARREL 22LR BOLT RIFLE and then check that out for comparison. I did have a CZ 452 ULTRA LUX with a 28.7" barrel and I shot a CCI QUIETS out of it, and I was SHOCKED. IT SOUNDED LIKE IT WAS SUPRESSED. My cap gun when I was a little kid made more noise than that. The longer the barrel the quieter it gets. Hell it's a WASTE to use the CCI QUIETS in any pistol even a long barrel one. I've got a old Czechoslovakia target single shot 22lr with a 10" barrel and it still made A BIT OF NOISE!!! LONG BARRELS FOR THE CCI QUIETS IS BEST!!!!😊

I had been waiting for the S&W model 629 Competitor to show up in any of my local gun shops, which it finally did. I'd never held one and I wasn't going to pay the asking price until I had. I love a heavy barrel ended handgun and the Competitor fit that bill perfectly. However! There was an Anaconda in the case also and I was able to make a real time comparison. I was very disappointed in the S&W double action from the Performance Center and I've changed my mind because of it. Also, the Anaconda is nearly $500 cheaper. I'm calling it a no brainer.

@Darth_BoonsАй бұрын
It's less noisy out of a closed action rifle but, it's still not suppressor level.👍
@WheelgunsOnWheelsАй бұрын
Nice. You know what’s actually kind of quiet coming out of a 617? CCI CB shorts. I use them when I’m in my back yard. 28gr lrn still powerful enough to flip my resettable paddles steel targets yet quiet enough to never have the neighbors call the police and trust me they’re full on Karen’s.
@MysteryWheelgunnerАй бұрын
Good to know. I'll have to track down some CBs.

what length barrel do you have on your gun. ive got a 2 inch barkeep and im looking for a quiet rabbit killer for in city limits
@jeffreylocke8808Ай бұрын
The new 2020 version Colt Anaconda can handle, due to its length of cylinder, Garrett Cartridges of Texas 330 grain Hammer Head loads.
@MysteryWheelgunnerАй бұрын
Yikes. That is a stout load.
