My only actual happy memory I had while in college, celebrating this win with a stranger. In a bar 500 miles from a friend, the Cubs found me one.

This will never not get me nervous and put me back watching in my hallway at home with my parents in the other room radio blaring throughout the house. Man i miss Addison Russell. Its too bad what he became. Dude threw it all away. That really messed things up.

As a Yankees fan, so glad to see Anthony Rizzo turning things around. He was slumping a bit, but is now hitting his way out of it a bit. Would love to get this guy a second ring.

I will never see Cleveland win a WS. Two losses in extra innings of game 7 tells me that.

I'm a DIE HARD white sox fan, tickets since I was a kid. My grandpa was a DIE HARD cubs fan. All I wanted was for him to see the cubs win the world series in his lifetime. He passed in 2021 knowing that they were 2016 World Series champs. Go Cubs!

I remember my heart stopping as I watched Bryant slip on the throw to first. Immediately brought back memories of the collapse vs the marlins. Then all was well again. 🙂

2016 was the best year for me when it comes to sports. Cleveland won their first championship in NBA, then Cubs won their first world series championship after more than a century.

2 great things took place that year. One of which was our Cubs winning the World Series! I'll never forget that day for the rest of my life!

Rizzo knew what's up. That winning ball when straight into his back pocket. Does anyone know what happened to it? Did Rizzo keep it? Sell it? Is it in the HOF?

My mom and dad were both huge Cubs fans. My mom died in 2017 and my dad in 2019. I'm so glad they both got to see this.

The Cubs had by far the better team in this series and Maddon’s decisions almost blew it for the Cubs, but luckily they were good enough to overcome his managing, or lack of.

Born and raised in Detroit. Life took me to Illinois in the mid 00s. Saw the passion for the Cubbies first hand. The people that became my in-laws made me realize the Cubbies were my adopted squad. When they won, it hit me heavy. Love to everyone that loves a good sports story! (Chuckles methodically knowing the state of Ohio lost)
