I met Nicholas Lindhurst many times at Shoreham Airport in the early 1990's when he was learning to fly. How ?? I owned the aircraft he used for training. (G-BTAP if anyone cares). Leonard pierce was brilliant I liked uncle Albert but Leonard piece was in a different league . This programme was the most exquisite piece of writing you could at times see what was coming but still it didn’t spoil the need to watch it. One moment you could be rolling with laughter the next you could have a tear in your eye . Just amazing .
