What the Hell is a yank narrating this classic British comedy. Take this off KZfaq, and have a British person narrate this. Big turn off!

I met Nicholas Lindhurst many times at Shoreham Airport in the early 1990's when he was learning to fly. How ?? I owned the aircraft he used for training. (G-BTAP if anyone cares). Away from the rest of the cast he was a really nice guy. Definately more than 2 'O' levels. We sat and drank coffee together in the schools clubhouse while discussing my aircraft and his training. Great days.

Thank you for mentioning #10, Pamela Sue Martin aka the BEST actress to play Fallon Carrington Colby. Actually, she's 71! PSM was born in 1953!

2024 / 05 / 23 / PM 13:30, Seoul, South Korea. I think we've come a long, long way. Humanity/morality and ethics (whatever) don't exist anymore. There is only selfishness and the gold and glory of success... I'm afraid I'm not alone and neither are you... 'House on the Prairie' This drama was the most Aramaic gift to us/humanity/people. Will we ever see a drama like this again, a reality? You've seen the people watching on the bus or subway, right? Those mechanical landscapes, only immersed in their smartphones - it's not a human world/people world, it's just products on a conveyor belt. It's scary. It's scary. From that look, I see 'home in the meadow', can we ever go back? Aah~ I'm human, too, and I'm part of this world of convenience. Nevertheless, I want to go back. To put it bluntly, I want to go back to thatched huts. Back to those simple people... Aah~

Just to reiterate the narration was awful, why not get an educated person, preferably British, as the American narrator has not got a clue.

The American narration is unacceptable - whether it’s a real person or not. This classic tv comedy is as British as it gets and it’s absurd to hear an American voice telling us all about it.

The narrator would do well to seek the services of an English Dialog Coach, learning to correctly name British place names and (importantly) their correct pronunciation.

Leonard pierce was brilliant I liked uncle Albert but Leonard piece was in a different league . This programme was the most exquisite piece of writing you could at times see what was coming but still it didn’t spoil the need to watch it. One moment you could be rolling with laughter the next you could have a tear in your eye . Just amazing .
