you're the only F'ing video that explains it actually going back into the assembly.. Liked and followed. Forget these other shops, auto techs, and channels on youtube that just want you to end up taking your car into the shop and paying them. F them fr fr

A couple of years ago I replaced my pads and I put the nubs on the piston side and it did not end well. Those pads wore down incredibly fast, down to the metal and ruined the rotors. Lesson learned now I know. Thanks for the info

This took me close to 3 hours to get everything done. It’s super frustrating trying to get that back bolt. I figured out that I could stuff electrical tape in a deep 14mm socket to get the exact depth I needed for the best clearance. Worked better than a 1” extension for me. Hopefully that helps someone.

I've found that if u always take out the hardest bolts to get to first onse u brake them lose u can take it the rest of the way out with your fingers u definitely could have saved yourself 30 mins of time by doing it that way !!

Hey Great Video!!! I have a 2011 Lexus LS 460 Rear Wheel Drive I was told by by my dealership I needed a new ABS module so I purchased a used one for $645 and had it put it in for another 1180. Now the mechanic that put it in is telling me that they cannot get the rear breaks to bleed, but the front did bleed, and they think I purchased module with a bad pump. They want me to send the module back, purchase a new one and charge me an additional $800 to put another in. After watching your video I dont think they know what there doing. Can you please advise me on how to bleed the the rear brakes? Or what you think my next step should be?
@richierock130014 күн бұрын
@@kevinhayles3311 start bleeding close to the master and work your way back to the rears . Use a pressure bleeder if you have one or make one from a cooling system pressure pump and get a cap that fits the reservoir and fabricate a fitting on top and pump some pressure on top of the fluid to force it threw a vacuum type at bleeder fo not work as good
