Thank you for this video and teaching the difference! It explains why earlier this week (recovering from COVID) I was resting loads but after a few days got quite restless so started by decluttering minimum one drawer a day in my house. I'm not sure if decluttering counts as recharging but I normally don't have the energy for this kind of task during the social work working week or weekend, and it's definitely helping me feel better and more relaxed in my space😊

I go to interviews , and they go well , they like me . But then I get the email that reads " thank you for applying and it's nice to meet you . But we have gone with another participant" Ugh so frustrating.

Throughout my years taking holiday breaks and summer breaks I've learned how to really rest, I analyzed and moved my priorities around and shifted my mindsets about certain things that caused stress vs. peace. I graduate with my MSW in Dec! I intern at a HS and found my passion. I would love to do School Social Work, I am just so nervous to apply to schools. Imposter Syndrome is real and i'm 41. I've been a stay at home mom and now going into this new field which I love SO much. Its nerve wracking though.

I am pivoting to the school district and will be the new Community Schools Program Specialist, at the high school. This was very helpful in priming my mind for this work. Thank you for sharing this. Honestly, the past few months have been difficult. im battling imposter syndrome in getting my Masters degree. daily! i feel the childhood trauma is real. That's something i have not healed from yet. it is a work in progress, i am grateful for your channel. This has helped me through my Bsw and currently MSW.

I think the real issue in Social workers is that a large percentage of them display Passive Aggressive behavior

I think I might be the first to comment, yay!! But, honestly a big thank you for this video and for taking the time to be vulnerable. It isn't easy and it's a very big step forward. I can relate so well to what you expressed in having grown to learn to be independent through time because of constant bullying and rejection in early childhood and even an emotionally chaotic upbringing. While Independence is a good trait, it does stem from a deeper place. The imposter syndrome isn't easy either, and I can attest to dealing with it a lot, but finding days to give myself Grace has been a learning curve but helpful. I'm really glad you have decided to continue this channel as it has been very helpful in my career journey as well as others! You are doing great ❤

I need to speak with school social worker please

A big foundation of my belief system is that all humans are born into sin. Therefore we are all inherently evil. The goodness that is in the world and the goodness people do to each other is a result of God. How do i handle it when I’m bombarded with the sorrows and just evilness of the world. I already have a dark sense of humor to an extent but I suppress it. Should I nurture it?
