What’s peoples opinions on the temple newsam show compared to when they first came out? I was at temple newsam and I also saw them a handful of times around 2002 just after the album was released and i think there was quite a difference live , 20 years I know but some bands don’t ever lose that energy or intensity,,they were good at temple newsam but people saying they were as good as those 2002 shows Seems crazy to me , even Adam the guitarists claims it was the best show they ever did , as much as I respect him it seems a bit delusional to me to say that , compare the temple newsam show to the blank canvas shows from 2002 and you see a big difference

An extensive US tour is very high on the todo list. I really enjoyed the Seattle / Portland vibe in 2018. I just hope they don’t wait to record a new album before doing so.

I intended on coming up at this point . I dropped a Warner Brothers Pill at 7:15 by which Primal scream had got into their 3rd song, and shit me!! Heavy heavy comeup indeed...and by the time this song started hearing that reggae spirit come through followed by the nice simple slow drum beat, then hear ''to love you to love you to love you''....i was absolutely in full reception of this outburst. It was beautiful! I had never seen massive attack before and had moved to Wotton 30 mins away from bristol centre in January and i can say i felt a Bristol collective experience at The downs. The rain didnt piss me off until we had to leg it for the bus. Thankyou massive attack for your inspiration!!!
