Honestly when I first heard about what you said about ToUA I disagreed but when all jumping the tower again i didnt like it as much, I started grinding this around the beginning of April, I made fast progress and quickly got to 8 but then after that i would just see myself loopfail 5-8 for days after finally making it to 9, then after failing it for the first time I started to struggle at random jumps on 9 Ive never failed before like the slope head hitter to the truss, and end of 9, when finally getting to 10 for the first time, around 1.5 weeks of grinding it got even worse, I couldnt even get pass the first half of the tower anymore, it was the worst ive done ever when grinding this garbage. A whole 2 weeks later when I got back to 10, I failed it over 6 times that day not even breaking the half point of 10, also turning that time I had like 50 8 fails. Following that day my motivation was definitely the highest it has been but it all crashed down when i was stuck on the first half again. When it reached the month of May I didnt play the tower even once, but suddenly when playing the tower again on the first of June I beat it (300 minute run) honestly I can relate to your experience :/ (Grinded the tower for over 2 months, total playtime 7.6k minutes, 126 hours) also when i first got to 10 i had 2k minutes. I beat this for my new hardest and it still is my hardest as of August 6, 2024 TL;DR toua made me grr

Man people's difficulty opinions during this period were god awful, but that's expected. The only fully legit Cata verification was Myfart's ToGF win, and ToER was simply out of the question. It’s even worse when the tower has such horrible, unfair bullshit gameplay (totl) attached to it. Like tobt’s is way longer but I was able to control myself better because I genuinely enjoyed the tower. I got pins and needles in my hands after beating totl. Bloody hell never again

Only tower that's allowed to have a final stretch is ToUA, as it's a really easy final stretch.

My first intense was either ToPA or SoWG. Both are rather easy though SoWG is harder in terms of raw gameplay while having less punishment. ToPA feels more like a challenging that is boosted by a couple of truss flicks.

Yes. Final outsides are just stupid. You will fail these 90% of the time not because of skill issue or a mistake but actually since you're so far into the tower you don't want to fail it and start all over again and just get nervous. One time I was shaking so hard I had to take a 10 minute break to attempt a few jumps :/.
