i suppose the 73 stock carriage in the middle was a spare one and so it was taken and modified for the TRT?

It has ATP equipment installed and so it is fully compatible to run on the Central line, along with the two 1962 stock Sandite rail trains at both ends.

Many years ago, when I worked at BR, as it was back then, I used to travel in the front with the driver. The passenger compartment was like a sardine can. The cab was tiny and the journey was pitch black all the way.

I am Japanese. There is also a similar railway line from Mostar to Sarajevo in Japan. Its name is Oito Line. The route from Minami Otari to Itoigawa in the JR West area is a wonderful sight as the Hime River flows from its tributaries to the Sea of Japan downstream. So good and there was another batch of these locomotives which actually use 750v DC 4th rail to actually recharge the batteries inside them. I wonder if the ones here can do that otherwise Ruslip Depot will have to dispatch their L63-L67 battery electric locomotives actually rescue the locomotives

All Battery Locos can recharge from the rails provided they are outside. The charge on the locos lasts long enough to cover the time they spend at the site. L63-L67 have been scrapped.

No. When travelling to and from work sites, they operate off the traction current.
