Beautiful, thank you so much for sharing your gift with the world. My dad used to love listening to this song while he was battling cancer. Now that he is gone, listening to this song brings joy to my heart. ❤

When the drop falls from the cork at 3:38... awesome! We are meat-creatures and our existence is organic; that drop is illustrative of human life. While Aubra lived he blew this horn with his breath from his lungs - and his soul created this mind-blowing tone! I'm going to listen to Aubra's recordings until somehow I can pick up some of that planet-sized tone and maybe a bit of his soul.

To Mr. Aubra Graves Son: Sir, I assume you did the recording. I'm 82 and quit playing when my Son died of Cancer in 2014. He was 36 years old. I lost my ambition. I love your Dad. My brother just sent an article from New Orleans about a 90+ year old sax player Charlie Gabriel. Even if I got the ambition to play, I'd be hard-pressed to find musicians to play Jazz Standards in the country music area where I live in Western Colorado, and then if I could, we'd be hard-pressed to get 10 people who wanted to hear Jazz. Mr/ Graves, I tried recording with a Sony Mini Disc Recorder, I also bought an 8-track Tascam recorder maybe 20 years ago. I gave up. It would have taken me years to figure out the recorder. It was miserable trying to get the low notes picked up and many other problems. You must be a hell of a recording engineer to get the sound quality and the way the mike picks up the lower register is amazing. I am looking at the video which isn't close to a recording studio with the door opened behind your Dad. This is truly amazing. I'm very curious as to the Gear, Mic, etc. you are using. If you read this and would be so kind you can get me on Facebook, Sir. My name is Boo Hargis.
