I love how that R2D2 functions like the actual one in the movie. Thats awesome how they added a gimmick like that.

Ok i just stumbled upon your video I didn't even catch my breath before you were already into the video starting to explain I mean i love that you quickly get to the point but i felt lost after 6 seconds 😅 I hope you get more views and be more popular but i guess you need to work on pacing yourself and giving the viewes context if they are gonna watch a 15 minute video

Sometimes I do that in code too, while in the "testing" phase. Rather than an array with incrementing number, I'll just pop them all down the code like you did here. LOL I admit it, it's lazy. Once things are working as required, is when I'll tighten things up. Mind you, I use Tabs in Arduino IDE. I used to just put everything on the one page, but went the tab way when I wanted to keep functions separated and easy to find. No more scrolling through a huge program. As it turns out, I tend to make my code as "common" as possible. In that, I can use the same functions in other programs. Examples, I use a lot of DHT22 sensors. Sometimes 2 at a time in one program. So I have a function, in a tab, that I call at certain intervals, that will read the sensor. Again, I use common variables to make life easier. The other example, which is a biggy, are two functions, 1 to READ from a Nextion display and 2 to WRITE to the Nextion display. I do not use the bloated Nextion library at all. Just direct serial calls/listens. As for soldering, I won't yell at you. LOL I want to... but I won't. eheheheheheh You already know that was horrible. If you're doing a lot of soldering and want really pretty and functional wires, I recommend getting a bottle of liquid resin flux. There are all types of flux out there, but I love this resin flux stuff. I keep some in a tiny bottle. When soldering, I'll clean the wires up, do a twist between my fingers to keep all strands together, then just before tinning them, I'll dip the ends into the liquid flux, then tin them. It's just beautiful how nicely this works. Then, when going to solder the wires to something, I'll use a tiny piece of fine cut wire, dip that into the liquid and rub it across the pads. Then, solder the tinned wire to that. Again, really pretty and professional solder connections. I just thought that I'd share that with you... and see... no yelling. LOL Oh, Kudos on using that "older" version of IDE. That new one they have is HORRIBLE! You can't even undock the Serial Monitor, for example as well, a bunch of other annoying things that the new one does.... Been there, tried it, HATED IT! I'm on the v 1.89.19. It's just solid. 👍😁👍

The bad thing is that this feeder will FLING a lot of birdseed on the ground! The PERCH needs to ALSO be WEIGHT activated so that the "feeder holes" CLOSE so that no bird seed can flung to the ground.
