I remember my Father's first tractor which was a John Deere with steel lug big tires. Cannot remember correctly but I think after about three years, he changed the big tires to rubber. Also changed the front tires to rubber. Remember how he opened and closed the pepcocks (sp) when the tractor finally started.

Those are some cool looking machines. This crawler was actually sold to New Zealand back then 9 years ago after we did this video. Maybe it was Australia but I think it was New Zealand. It would take some record digging to find out exactly.

I believe that very tractor belonged to my Grand Parents until 1997. I have the guards for the main drive gear guards for each rear wheel in my shop.

A really nice one , starts easy , no smoke. If you have ever driven one you would it's a good one by sound it makes. Clutch engages nicely. Seems to have power steering

They were available with a heavy duty front end. The standard wide front was weak for loader work. I need one of those cast iron front ends for my 69. They are now selling later model front ends for a price if you can find them.

We're pretty sure somebody put a Super M hood on it. The serial number matches up with the M. Description of the tractor is in the video description.
