The Mexican dubbing is really, really good (despite some hilarious and also legendary mistakes) and I love it with all my heart but the Japanese vercion is better.

This was the most popular Saturday morning cartoon back in the 90's in my country, I was 7 years old in 1992 and my mom wake me up at 7am to introduce me to the cartoon, I was very sleepy and I didn't know the TV show but she insist and I was there for the first episode and that anime become the first anime global sensation around the world, Asia, Latin America, Italy, France, Espain, only the english countries didn't join the hype train at the time, this anime was huge, is basically the grand father of the Shonen genre and the one responsible to set the standard and "cliches" (troops?) of the genre and the merch was everywhere, something like Pokémon, Harry Potter or the Avengers, very massive at the time.

As far as seeing the chocolate as a love confession. Something most people miss is that not only is chocolate new and very expensive, but what he gave her is top quality chocolate at that. Fun fact : the french film director of the film Clash of Titans about greek mythology was a fan of Saint Seiya and asked the mangaka to drawfor the film. Huge influence on my generation ❤ I always was more a Saint Seiya fan than DBZ. You will gain a lot of followers if you watch it because there isn't a lot of reactors to this show and we are desesperate.
