The best way to choose the right size is instead of only going for the size, is to look at the measurements, most Japanese Brands post the measurements, so grab your best-fitting jeans (not the stretching ones) and pick the size that matches those measurements. Keep in mind that the jeans need to be sanforised or one-wash, unless you have experience with shrink-to-fit jeans (as Levi’s calls them, everybody else calls them Raw Denim ).

@@UrbanLadUK Momotaro are saying that their jeans have an allowance of 2-3cm, but this seems crazy to me. The jeans should be 91cm for a 34. If they measured 88, that would be a size 33, as that is supposed to be 88.5cm. I measure the jeans at 87, and have had them measured by a dry cleaners. They agree with me. So it will be interesting to see what Momotaro say. They have agreed to exchange them as long as when they measure them they are not inside the 2-3cm variance. I love the jeans, but the customer experience hasn't been the best, and their arrogance on sizing hasn't been fantastic either. Hopefully no games, and they just exchange them one they receive them back.

They are expensive, that's why I picked NICKS first. Ordering boots is not easy if it is your first pair of PNW.

It is funny how long it takes to decide, and sometimes the advice from customer service is wrong; my first pair of Nicks because it back because didn't fit properly. Took 8 months to have my well-fitted boot.

This version is one wash but exists the same in STF, I recommend sizing up in your case 34x34 in STF, on the other hand, if you choose one wash pick your regular size 33x32 👍👍

Sometimes I soak the denim, but usually, I wear it as it comes and yes they bleed a lot but its ok for me

I haven't washed that jacket (size L) I don't wear very often, but I intend to wash it by hand in tap water

@@UrbanLadUKok, the reason why I am asking is, because I had the chance to get a size L model for a sensational price. I am 188 cm and 84 kgs. It fits just a little bit too big. But if I take the measurements of your soaked XL model, this would still be larger than a raw model L. As I can’t get an XL size anyway I will stay with the L size and hope that it shrinks just a little bit.
