Interesting discovery. I didn't know about Tifa's aerial uppercut cancel but I've done Cloud's aerial stance swap cancel. Even cooler you can cancel the aerial drop into Counterstance. It's such a broken move lol

Few things I wanted to add- 1) Tifa’s aerial downward punch cancel requires much more precise timing than Clouds aerial Operator / punisher cancel. And if you mis-time with Tifa and fall down, you have to waste ATB to get her back in the air (if doing solo) 2) These moves don’t do crazy damage, BUT, Tifa’s uppercut cancel is pretty decent damage. And some nice quick ATB, but ATB is fast for her regardless. 3) The purpose of these cancels is truly only for anyone looking to do stylish aerial combat. Just thought it was cool to share what I found by messing around in the air 😅

Great combat. I never mastered aerial combat. I found it difficult to launch my characters at airborne enemies consistently.

@@saigebasil2285 it can be a little tricky at first, and it takes some getting used to! The way I do it on the ground is attack once, charge, attack two times, charge.

i think FF7Rebirth already have multiple launch method, things equivalent to devil arm, multiple plunge attack, multiple extender, projectile counter, i think it should be possible to do nice combo like dmc. but sadly i still havent interested in trying that. still focus on making all party no damage run
