In 2021 I bought the 800 touring. It now has almost 500 miles on it. My wife can't drive or ride it in the hot summer months because of the excessive heat on the right side. I can't ride it with shorts on. It beeps all the time,jerky as heck on starts which makes it tricky on steep rock climbing type hills.I like that kind of trails more than going 50 windy trails. hHad overheating issues(easy fix) and I think they said it was a rear cv joint or something in the rear had to be replaced(over $1,000) having to sell it outright because the dealership where I bought it would only give $2100 on trade in. Rode my buddy's new gen 3. Big difference .Was going to get a gen 3 model. So now I'm going with a different dealership and a different brand..Polaris or Can Am most likely.
@DirtObseXXion20 сағат бұрын
I'd go CanAm over Polaris, Polaris quality has really taken a dive the last ten years..

You could probably buy one, but it would be a rough ride.. I'd look foe a 2-seat XT-P personally

Love my raptor 700r 2015 only thing is,I brought it with a big gun Evo R twin exhaust & it’s running a little rich,iv been told to get a power commander 5 but some say just plug it in & leave it & others say iv got to down load something off a computer,or i can spend £1200 & send it to this place that tune quads who said they will fit a PC & dial it in,but i feel me buying a PC5 & getting my friend with his computer ill save my self near on £900
@DirtObseXXion2 күн бұрын
Yeah, what I did was I bought a map from Cuervo Racing for the PC5, it was $25. Just told him my exhaust and intake setup, he sends a tune to upload in the PC5 that he dialed in with his dyno.. You have a few options with the PC5 including the custom mapping feature that let's the PC5 dial itself in.. That's a common exhaust system though, im sure there's several options out there

Hi, we have watched a lot of you videos. We are a couple in our mid 50's. We use our 2 cfmoto 950 and 800 to just explore Pennsylvania and escape from everything. I get where you are coming from with the comments. Also, i have an atv i use to get away for a couple hours a month! Your videos are great. I'm going to look at a Rmax 4 to get the grandkids out soon

Interesting that there are many more positive CF Moto comments on my phone than on my tv when I watch this video. There are negative comments on the tv commentary regarding cf moto but none here… I suspect this is where chinnas target audience is, young people using their phones, so they are using their influence and technology. If I have to choose, I’ll buy Arctic Cat over cf moto every time. Made by Americans for freedom loving human beings. Sometimes you gotta put your foot down and stand for something folks.

I have owned both bikes. Both set up for single track exclusively. I’m on my 2nd KLX & will buy a 3rd. That said, both are great machines & I definitely concur with the findings of your review. It boils down to rider preference & what your intended purpose is for the bike. Where will your riding be focused. You can’t loose, with either bike.
@DirtObseXXion14 күн бұрын
Thanks brother! Key takeaway is that they're both great but they have an entirely different feel.. Glad to hear someone else with a lot of experience with both feels the same way
@highball734714 күн бұрын
This is all subjective. It sounds like this review is coming from someone that likes to do 70mph on his trail rides. I’d prefer to find a comfortable, reliable, atv that I can enjoy at 20mph or less. I’ll take a dual clutch over rubber band transmission any day.
@jaredbauer305815 күн бұрын
300L was the number one selling dual sport in 2023, and it wasn't close. Honda has the winning formula, no doubt. Very surprised there was no mention of a tremendous CRF advantage, the slipper clutch. Great feature NOT on the KLX. Honda is cheaper too. CRF FOR THE WIN.
@highball734717 күн бұрын
“You have to get use to the Honda transmission”. lol Man I’m old. I remember when we were “getting use” to CVTs in the 90s. I still hate them. Just feels less connected to the engine torque and feel.

My dad bought a brand new Raptor this past March. I've ridden a Sportsman 850, Honda 350X, and my own Yamaha 225DX (similar to the Moto 4 mentioned in video). The Raptor is 100% the most fun ATV I've ever ridden. My dad and I usually ride on the trails and roads of Tug Hill here in NYS, and the raptor is awesome. It'll do 50 mph in the snap of a finger
@DirtObseXXion18 күн бұрын

I’m probably going to buy one of these. I used to be an intermediate racer but now at 59 yrs I just want to poke around. At 230lbs I’m concerned after I stiffen up the CRF it will be taller than the KLX because the CRF sags an extreme amount in stock form..?
@DirtObseXXion23 күн бұрын
We think the CRF feels taller than the KLX anyway.. The pegs are certainly higher, so standing makes it feel taller even though seat heights are similar. You're probably right about the suspension too of course.. But with your experience I wouldn't necessarily think it would be an overly concerning difference.. I can say that a 250l feels considerable lower than both of these, but it does sacrifice some power

I've got a grizzly 700, I got it brand new, and since then I've put 15,000 hard kilometers on it, and it's been rolled and pinned under a tree in a tornado, I've never had to do nothing besides some bushings, brakes, and oil changes, and she still runs great, I will never ever tell anyone to buy anything else, not to mention my grandfather has a Kodiak 450 with 25,000 km on it, still runs but not in the best shape

Sport quads are more exciting i mean unless you like putting around in a lazyboy chair through the woods and they can get through a lot more terrain then most people think changing gears is great fun i think i would get bored with no gears to rip through getting stuck in mud holes is to much like work id rather spend my time riding

I’m looking at getting a 450 but don’t know whether to get the ds450, the trx450er, or a ltr450. What do you recommend
@DirtObseXXion29 күн бұрын
The trx450 is going have by far the best aftermarket support.. I prefer the ltr450 but they can be finicky and the 09s and up had transmission issues.. I wouldn't get a ds450 unless it was mint and fairly cheap.. They were good machines but there wasn't a ton of them so parts would be hard to find..
